Everyone gathered in Jungkook's room, their faces etched with concern. The doctor examined him, prescribed some medicines, and offered words of reassurance before leaving. Namjoon escorted the doctor out, closing the door behind them.Mrs. Jeon's eyes welled up with tears as she gazed at her son, her heart aching at the sight of his frailty. Jungkook's eyes, usually bright and vibrant, now seemed dull and sunken,He weakly lifted his hand, his fingers brushing against his mother's cheek, as if trying to comfort her.
"Mom, please... don't cry," he whispered.
Mrs. Jeon's tears spilled over, streaming down her face as she cradled Jungkook's hand in hers. She pressed a long, gentle kiss on his palm, then on his forehead, her lips lingering on his skin.
"Why, Jungkook, why do you have to be so careless?" she lamented, her voice trembling. "I was so scared when you wouldn't open your eyes. The doctor told me you haven't been eating properly, and you're not getting enough sleep. How are you even surviving, Jungkook? And yet, you still insist on going to boxing practices..."
"Mom, I'm fine," he whispered, his voice was barely audible.
But Mrs. Jeon was having none of it. She grasped his ears, her grip firm but gentle. "Will you promise me you'll take better care of yourself? Huh?"
Jungkook's eyes snapped open, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. "Ow, mom, that hurts!" he protested, his voice laced with a hint of mirth.
Mrs. Jeon's expression softened, her eyes shining with love and worry. Jungkook's face lit up with his signature bunny smile, and he wrapped his arms around his mother, pulling her into a warm embrace.
"Sorry, mama. Forgive your bunny, please?" he mumbled, his voice muffled against her shoulder.
Mrs. Jeon's heart melted at her son's words, her tears drying up as she wrapped her arms around him, holding him close. She pecked his head, her lips brushing against his hair.
"It's okay, my bunny. Mama forgives you. Just promise me you'll take care of yourself, okay?"
Jungkook hummed.
"Mom, I think our Jungkookie has totally lost his mind in love," Jhope said, laughing.
"Yeah, I mean look at this, what he did to Tae's photo," Jimin said, holding up Taehyung's half-eaten picture. "I'm scared what he'll do to him in person."
"Mom, his intentions are very wild, and that innocent soul is in danger. We shouldn't let that fluff ball marry this horny man," Yoongi said, teasingly.
"Youuu, kitty! Today, I will kill you!" Jungkook yelled, his face flushed bright red as he threw a slipper at Yoongi.
Mrs. Jeon chuckled, shaking her head at her sons' antics. "Boys, stop teasing my baby. He's just a little lovesick, that's all, Right Jungkook" Mrs.Jeon teased him.
"Mom you too." He said sulking like a baby.
"Ok now rest, tell me if you need anything." She lovingly pecked his forehead and everyone left turning off the lights. To let him rest.
"That's the problem, You can't provide me, What I need mom." He sighed looking at Taehyung's photo.
Just then, his gaze fell upon the clock, and a wide, bunny smile spread across his lips. His heart fluttered with excitement as he realized he could finally talk to his doll.
He quickly grabbed his phone from the nightstand. "Should I call him straight away or text him first?" he thought, biting his lip as his stomach churned with anticipation.
