Chapter 7: Moving Back to Davenport

Thursday:

Mila's POV:

So I am officially cleared as of yesterday. I went to CrossFit with Marek, as he was helping me to get stronger than I was since of me being out of the gym too long. I kind of lost some of my muscles. Yes, I was an avid CrossFit even when I was working 24-hour shifts I would always get 48 hours off so basically two days off where I would just go there. My job was impressed at how much muscle I had, they were trying to get me to be a firefighter with them. I just couldn't do it, I was always worried about running into a burning building not knowing what was going to happen. I lift weights with Marek, he was spotting me to make sure I got it and sure enough I did. After that, we did rowing machines, bikes, burpees, and etc.

When we were done with all of that we decided to go get some protein smoothies and acai bowls. I posted it on Instagram and has the caption as "smoothies with da bestie @marekbrave". There were of course a lot of likes and comments. We then went to the house to see if all of my stuff that Brie sent over to his house was there, which it was. "You know we have to bring all that to Davenport because we are going to be moving back to Davenport and he wants to just sell this place because of too many bad memories and he hates Cali traffic. Maybe you guys can get a house together anywhere else you want to. I'm sure he would want to." Marek says. "Yeah I know. I understand why he would want to sell this but damn it's beautiful" I say. He nods. We packed up most of the house and had some of the movers already drive it and set it up at the Davenport house. After that we were starving so we made lunch together since it was noon. Then we head to Davenport via driving.

Marek's POV:

It's a long trip, but we're making the most of it. Mila did a boomerang of the road and then towards me. The caption was "road trip with da bestie @marekbrave". It's funny that some people are commenting, saying that she's cheating on Colby with me. That's definitely not what's happening. She's like my sister. I'm getting tired, so I asked Mila to drive and she did. We also called Colby, Jon, and her sisters so they don't worry. Her ex Joe was worried too, but like, sorry dude, you failed her and you used her. We switched again as I felt better to drive. Mila and I made it to Davenport at 9 pm on Friday since it was 27 hours driving. Don't ask me how but let's just say we stopped when we needed to rest and all. We're finally back! We were exhausted after the long drive, but I was excited to be home. It was good to be back in a place where I knew my way around. I looked over at Mila, who was already asleep, and smiled. I was glad we were finally home.

Friday:

Colby's POV:

Mila and Marek moved into a house in Davenport that she doesn't seem to recognize yet, but it's actually her old house! I bought it for her because Nikki told me that it has a lot of sentimental value, and I knew she was sad to sell it. I hope she's not disappointed that I just went ahead and bought it without telling her.  Yes I knew that she sold it before she told me, I was just acting surprised. I'm in Texas for Friday Night SmackDown, but I'll be back tomorrow to help Mila with her training at Black and Brave Academy. She's having her first week of training there, and Marek has been helping her with the basics. She's doing great so far, which makes me think she's a natural. She's so strong and athletic, and I'm really proud of her. She can do anything she sets her mind to.

I went into the arena, went to my locker room, and then talked to the producers to see what was the match cards for tonight. I saw Brie on it she was going up against Naomi first match of the night and then second match was Nikki against my ex-wife for her titles. Wait I thought she was pregnant?? What?? I thought in my head as I saw my name and Sami Callahan's we were going against her lover Finn Balor & his leech Logan Paul for the tag team title match and they wanted us to win. Whatever I am prepared to beat his ass but I still can't get over the fact that Becky is still wrestling pregnant.
