Hey guys, this is Rari Roc, but you may know me as Matt Racca. I'm 26 years old, I'm from Boston, and I'm brand new to WWE. I got a call saying that I'd made it in the tryouts, so I moved to Tampa, went to the Performance Center, and did all the tests. I'm a rapper too, and I wasn't really sure what I wanted my ring name to be. I'd already changed it a couple times, and they didn't like the first two, so I went with Rari Roc. They also said no to my first choice for a theme song because of explicit content, so I went with one of my friend's songs instead which is below (20 seconds-2 minutes and 5 seconds). I started in NXT five months ago, and now I'm making my debut on Friday Night Smackdown. It still doesn't feel real.
I always thought that the life of a WWE superstar was out of reach for me. But here I am, preparing for my debut on Smackdown! If you didn't know, you can call me Rari Roc. I'm not a new face in the business, but I'm new to WWE. And this is a dream come true. I started out in Davenport when I was just 12 years old. There weren't many wrestling schools in Massachusetts at the time, and I also wanted a change of scenery. I was mostly by myself, except that my uncle sent me some money and bought me a house. It was in his name, but I was just 12. My best friend's (Dom) mom took me in as if I was her own. Then I turned 18 and graduated so his mom moved back to Massachusetts because she thought I was doing great on my own. I miss my best friend (she was my girlfriend at the time), but I don't know if she misses me. We've dated for 4 years but we lost touch after we graduated. She always wanted to do what I do, but I don't know why she couldn't. I mean her sisters does it, why couldn't she? She joined me for three classes but after that she ended up not showing up anymore. That was three days after we graduated high school, she disappeared from my life then. Anyways, my debut is finally here, and it still doesn't feel real.. I can't believe that I am doing one of my dreams, I always thought I couldn't do it. My friends thought I was kidding when I told them about it. I went to Texas the day before my debut, I drove to the hotel that I was staying at and checked in. I went to grab food at their restaurant they had in the hotel and then went back to my room. I can't stop thinking about her. Man I hope she's okay I thought as I went into my phone and went to Instagram. I was looking at the posts of people that I follow and the people that follow me. I stood up on the bed (since I was originally laying down on the bed) as I saw something that caught my eye. My idol that I loved watching him wrestling when I was young. To be honest, he was the reason why I wanted to start wrestling, because of him, Hulk Hogan, Triple H, Batista, Randy Orton, and Shawn Michaels. I was back to looking at his post, I saw her and him.....her was my girlfriend.. well in the past... Holy shit she's dating Seth 'freakin' Rollins now I thought in my head as my heart was beating so fast. I went to grab a bottle of Hennessey and downed it. I must've passed out because I woke up in the hospital with my best friend Dom next to me. "I can't be here, I have my debut tomorrow" I said as I got up and man I was dizzy. Dom told me to get back in the bed and that he was scared when he saw me passed out and saw the empty bottle next to me. He found out why because when I did, my phone was on me and he unlocked to see what it was. "That was so long ago, I didn't know you missed her still" he said. I replied "She was good to me. She cared about me". He nodded and was going to say something but the doctor walked in. "Hey your awake, so what you had was just that your heart rate elevated and you drinking to excessive made you lose consciousness. I would advise you to not be stressed or something along those lines so you don't down a whole bottle. We pumped your stomach too but you might feel a little groggy right now. Any questions?". Dom chimes in and said, "he is suppose to debut in his first time being in the main roster, wrestling. Can he still do it?". The doctor just tells me to not drink and to be careful out there. I nod and he goes to get the discharge papers. Dom drives me back to the hotel and we talked more about her because well he knew at the time that I was seeing a girl but he didn't know who because he was back and forth from Boston to Davenport to other places because of his tours. He ended up not singing anymore, he's producing and directing music videos now. His mom though knew about her though because she was always at the house with us. I am surprised that she is dating him because the last time I knew, he was married. I looked at the time it was 10 pm, I went to bed.
