Chapter 7

At the hotel’s lobby: -

Dhawal was sitting in the hotel lobby and discussing about his upcoming project with his personal assistant (Ankita).

Dhawal – Ahmedabad main hum jo hotels ki chain open karne waale hain uska budget finalize ho gaya tha last week ki meeting mein toh uski final copy mujhe do aur ek hamare investors ko mail kardo.
Give me the final budget list for the chain of hotels that we are going to build in Ahmedabad, we discussed the budget in the meeting last week. Also, forward the final copy to all our investors.

Not getting any reply from his PA he looked up at her to see her lost while looking at the table, he frowns witnessing this and then he waves his hand in front of her to bring her out of her trance, which he eventually does.

Dhawal – Kaha kho gayi jaldi se mujhe woh file do aur investors ko bhi ek copy mail karo. Also start concentrating on your work, one mistake and you will be fired. And I hate repeating myself.

Embarrassed she looks down and starts to look for the file she was asked for and gives it to him and then gets back to her work. Just then her phone rings and she reaches for it and notices it’s a personal call hence she asks Dhawal permission to receive it after getting a positive nod she leaves from there to attend it.

After finishing her call, she turns around to go back when she bumps into someone looking up, she closes her eyes fearing a fall but when she does not get hurt even after 3 seconds she opens them and sees the same person who bumped into her this morning. He was holding her with his hands around her waist protecting her from a fall.

Shantanu who was heading out due to an emergency call from hospital bumps into the same girl from this morning. Both of them get lost in admiring each other but then they come to their senses soon hearing a waiter's voice.

Shanu – Arreeyy yaar tu  kabhi dekh ke nahi chal sakti kya aankhe hai ya button?
Can’t you look where you are walking do you have button in place of eyes?

Ankita – Main dekh ke hi chalti hu par tu andhe jaisa chal raha tha usme meri kya galti. Aur tune mujhe aise kyu pakad Rakha hai chod mujhe.
I was looking where I was going but you were walking like a blind person do it wasn’t actually my fault. Also why are you holding me like this leave me.

Shanu - Accha chod doon? Thike
Oh, so I should leave you? Fine.

He leaves her waist and she lands on the hard floor with a thud and winces but then she hears a loud laughter looking up she sees Shantanu laughing at her which enrages her. Getting up she shouts at him and asks him.

Ankita – Choda kyun?
Why did you leave me?

Shanu – Tune hi toh bola chod mujhe isliye maine chod diya.
You only asked me to leave me to leave you that’s the reason I left you.

She gets ready to give him a befitting reply when she hears his phone ring. Which he receives and leaves from there while talking on his phone. Frustrated she also leaves from there and goes to discuss other things with Dhawal and then they both head back to their respective rooms after professionally greeting each other.

In Dhawal’s room: -

As Dhawal enters his room, he sees Naveli playing games on her iPad he goes up to her and takes it from her hand.

Dhawal – Bass ho gaye games Naveli bohot raat ho gayi hai soo jaao chalo kal subah tumhara drawing competition bhi hai.
Stop playing games Naveli, its already late at night go to sleep. You also have your drawing competition tomorrow morning.

Naveli – Okay Papa.

Dhawal nods and goes to the washroom to change and then joins Naveli in the bed who is already asleep. In her sleep she turns towards her father and cuddles him with her head on his chest. Dhawal smiles seeing this and pats her head and then soon dozes off. Around midnight he receives a call from Ankita stating that an accident had taken place at a Makwana construction site. Dhawal gets worried about how he can leave Naveli alone in the room so he requests Ankita to come near his room’s door.

Dhawal – Meri beti Naveli andar soo rahi hai aur usse akele sone mein darr lagta hai so tum isse apne room mein leke jaao kal subah iska drawing competition hai usse driver pick karne aayega toh Naveli ko uske saath send kar dena.
My daughter Naveli is sleeping inside take her to your room as she is scared of sleeping alone. Tomorrow, she has a drawing competition my driver will come to pick her, so send her with him.

He gives her all the necessary instructions, drops a sleeping Naveli to her room and then leaves after kissing Naveli’s forehead. Meanwhile, Ankita was in a shock as she never knew that Dhawal has a daughter, soon after she recovers from the shock and goes to sleep next to her.

Author’s note: -
• I didn’t like how things ended for Shantanu in the show so I brought someone for him he will soon realise he never loved Bittu. His story will be shown only till Bittu regains her memory after that there won’t be any scenes about them. Before that also there won’t be many scenes.
• Maybe some of you may think Dhawal is being careless by leaving Naveli with Ankita but it is because she is working for him since past 5 years and she is a good person.
• Next few chapters story will be similar to that of the show with some small changes only. Also, Dhawal will see Bittu in the next 2-3 chapters.
