Chapter 11

Chapter 11: -

At Makwana Mansion: -

Chirag enters the mansion with hurried footsteps while muttering some incoherent words.

Chirag – Main itni zaroori file kaise bhul gaya lekar jaana ek toh aaj itni important meeting hai. Aur ye Dolly ko bhi aaj hi jaana tha kya apne maike. File confidential na hoti toh kisi aur ko bhej deta lene.
How could I forget such an important file at home as it is such an important meeting is there today. Also did Dolly have to go to her maternal home today itself. If the file hadn’t been confidential, I would have informed someone else to send it.

Amba who sees Chirag rushing in while muttering some incoherent words in the middle of the day, goes toward the kitchen to get some water for him and hands it over to him when he comes down from his room again.

Amba – Kya hua Chirag itni jaldi main kyu hai aur tui ss samay ghar pr kaise?
What’s wrong Chirag why are you in such a hurry and how come you are at home at this time?

Chirag (While taking the glass from Amba) – Woh ek bohot zaroori meeting hai thodi der main uski file ghar par reh gayi thi isliye aana pada achaanak se. Yeh meeting agar kamiyaab hui toh bohot bada profit hoga hamari company ko.
A very important meeting is there in a few minutes and I forgot its file at home so I came back to take the file. If this meeting goes well our company will gain a huge profit.

Amba – Accha toh main bhagwaan se prarthana karungi ki teri meeting acche se jaaye. Waise bhi mujhe aisa lag raha hai aaj kuch toh shubh hoga.
Okay, so I will pray to the Almighty that your meeting goes smoothly. As it is I have a gut feeling that something good might happen today.

Hearing his mother’s words Chirag smiles and engulfs her in side-hug then leaves from there for his office.

At the hotel in Somnath: -

Gopal gets a call from his Mechanic stating that his vehicle’s servicing is complete so he starts going to the Mechanic’s shop when he is halfway to the shop and goes to cross the road, he misses the sight of a vehicle coming towards him at high speed. When he is in the middle of the road, he sees the vehicle but realises it's too late to move out of the way just then the vehicle stops almost an inch away from his legs. He falls down on the ground due to shock.

Meanwhile, Chirag who was driving his car at a high speed notices a man in front of the vehicle and steps on the break to avoid an accident due to which he jerks forward and almost bangs his head on the steering wheel but is saved due to opening of air – bags.

He immediately gets out of the car and takes a breath of relief. And then curses his luck realising that his meeting is scheduled for the next 15mins.

Chirag – Saari musibatein aaj hi aani thi kya.
All the problems had to come at this moment only.

He sees the man sitting on the road and goes forward to help him up. Gopal looks up to see the face of his saviour and stills in his place seeing such a familiar face. A sharp pain erupts in his head feeling as if someone is hitting a hammer on his head. While Chirag stills at his place seeing the man’s face that looked awfully similar to that of his brother Amrish Makwana. Looking carefully, he realises that it is none other than his brother who is standing there with his eyes closed and pain etched on his face. With his mind still reeling in shock he goes toward him and touches his shoulder. Amrish looks horrified with eyes wide and sweat beads forming on his face due to the pain the world seems to be fading around him and soon he is engulfed in darkness. Chirag sees him fainting and holds his hands to prevent him from falling on the ground. He carefully leads him to his car and makes him sleep in the backseat. Just then his phone starts ringing, he looks at the caller id to see his brother Bhavin calling him. He receives the call.

Bhavin – Chirag kaha hai tu 5-minute mein meeting chalu hone waali. Aur tujhe pata hain a yeh deal agar nahi mili toh hame kitna badha loss hoga.
Chirag where are you the meeting is going to be held in the next 5-minute. Also, you know right that if we don’t get this deal we will incur a huge loss.

Chirag (Still in shock) – Bhai woh main abhi file leke aa raha than a toh mere gaadi ke saamne ek aadmi aa gaya aur jab maine uska chehra dekha toh woh Amrish bhai nikle.
Bhai, as I was coming to the office with that file one man came in front of my car and when I saw his face I realised it was none other than Amrish bhai.

Bhavin – Kyyaaa aise kaise ho sakta hai Amrish bhai toh che (6) saal pehle………… ab kaha hai woh?
What? How can that be possible Amrish bhai died 6 years ago……… where is he now?

Chirag – Woh abhi behosh hai isliye maine unhe car ke backseat pe sulaya hai.
He is unconscious at this moment so I have laid him on the car’s backseat.

Bhavin – Thik hai tu unhe ghar le jaa mein ye meeting cancel karke pohochta hoon.
Okay, you take him home with you I will cancel the meeting and reach home.

Listening to Bhavin's words Chirag nods his head and goes to the driving seat and starts driving home with thousands of questions roaming in his head. But he calms himself thinking he will get all his answers as soon as Amrish wakes up.
