𝙄𝙉 𝙒𝙃𝙄𝘾𝙃 — 𝘢 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘥𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘥𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 4 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴, 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘧𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘳𝘰𝘺𝘢𝘭 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥, 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘣𝘪𝘨𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵.

Once upon a time, Clovervale was ruled by a king and queen who were very benevolent and wished for children very dearly. However, they struggled to conceive and eventually began to give up on the idea, until they helped a new witch come into power and they had the chance to ask them for a favor. The royals asked for a child and the witch gave them four pieces of jewelry, each representing a wish for potential children: a ring of spades to grant power, a necklace of hearts to grant love, a brooch of clubs to grant happiness, and earrings of diamonds to grant fortune. With these gifts, the royal couple went back to their castle and were blessed with a set of quadruplets. These quadruplets were then given one of the jewelry pieces with the hope that though the wishes had been split, the four could always be together and share them.

Hoping to prevent strife and to be able to choose an heir based on virtue, the quadruplets' birth order was never revealed. Each child was raised with the potential to be the next ruler, learning and growing at an extraordinary rate expected of any royal heir. The royal quadruplets were beloved by the country, with their charming faces and clever charisma. Their lives seemed to be perfect, until both of their parents began to fall ill.

The royal children grew into adults in a time of great distress, as their mother died when they were 17 and their father only worsened from there. And although their father was too ill to run the country by himself, he refused to declare an heir until he was ready. Trusting his advisory team to help make decisions for Clovervale, the royal children began to scheme. Each felt pulled to declare their claim to the throne for one reason or another, and their factions began to shape themselves around the wishes they had once been granted by the witch long ago.

Clovervale is a kingdom that lays balanced on the shoulders of the royal family and the Magic Tower, and while this balance may seem shaky despite the compensation from both sides, people believe that everything will solve itself eventually. One of the royal children will win the throne and bring everything back to peace, the Magic Tower and their mages will help the royals recover their presence and then return to helping the normal people, and everyone will be granted a happily ever after.

Hello everyone!! I hope you're excited for my new applyfic! I've been working on this for over a week now and I really hope everyone will like it. I've drawn a lot of inspiration from the Royal Scandal series and the amazing songs and story in it, so please check it out if you'd like a preview of the vibes.
