My first thought when I reach the top is "where am I" followed a second later by, "Where the heck does this staircase lead? And why the staircase that is only a horrible trap to a person's death?" I'm sure you can understand my trepidation thus far, "I've been here before, more than once!" "Oh no this is not good," I mumble to myself. "Mother Superior" slowly turns her face toward me, and goose bumps cover every last inch of my body! Her sinister smile finally engulfs my vision, and I'm frozen! I watch as the words her mouth forms reach my ears. "You will more than likely die upon this staircase my dear, unless that is you heed this warning!" My eyes witnessed a smirk from "Mother Supierior" followed by a full grin! My eyes traveled up the aged face to the piercing black eyes! "Black!" my inner voice pointed out! And yet her voice seemed to soothe my worries as she said, "You shall do well my child, I can see the knowledge just on the edge of your understanding!"
