Dear Prince Benjamin Florian, I hope this letter finds you in good health. I attached a proposal that I hope you will have the kindness of reading with an open mind. I am aware of the reputation Wonderland has, as well as my mother, the queen of hearts, but I hope this proposal can help shed some light to true nature of our character. "What is going on?" I question as I made my way into the throne room. The sun hadn't even risen when Chester appeared in my room and hurriedly woke me up.
"Oh, my dear you are awake." My aunt stood by my mother as they both turned to look at me. I put Ace, my pet red panda, on the ground before making my way to my mother's side.
"What is happening mother? Chester woke me up and said it was urgent." My mother stood up to wrap her arms around my waist due to her short height. I had to bend down a bit to wrap my own arms around her.
"My dear I wish it wouldn't have come to this, but the black king has become unpredictable. He has disregarded all rules of Wonderland." My mother said as she pulled away from the hug and bent down to carry Ace.
"He didn't accept our Croquet challenge?" I questioned as I wrapped my arms around myself to keep warm. I was in such a hurry that I didn't have time to grab my robe. Just as soon as I started rubbing my arms Chester's smile appeared floating in the air before the rest of him appeared as well.
"Your robe your majesty." I smiled at him before going to put the robe on. He held the robe up to help me slip it on easier. "I packed her bag your highness. As you asked." Chester bowed as he addressed my mother.
"Okay someone tell me now! What is going on or I'll have to off someone's head." I crossed my arms as I frustratingly said. I was joking of course, my mother has never offed someone's head, but it was a pretty popular catchphrase that she said when she was upset. Ever since it has become an inside joke in wonderland.
"Your proposal was accepted by prince Benjamin." My aunt spoke up from her place by the window. She was looking sadly out the window and my heart dropped to see the look of devastation on her face. Of all of us the war has taken a bigger toll on her. "You and your future court must leave to Auradon at once." She turned away from the window and walked towards us.
"Why so soon? I must make preparations, practice speeches, learn more of Auradon customs! I am not prepared to make a perfect impression to get an alliance." I started pacing as I thought of how unprepared we all were. Of course, I knew the history of Auradon and some rules and expectations of Auradon prep, but I was no where near making a political appearance.
"Please your majesty, you are more prepared than a didllebird on teatime tea day." Chester spoke up and placed a comforting hand on my shoulder. I gave him a small smile in thanks.
