Vera Kelce's POV:
Esme has been staying with us for a few months. I'm not sure how she got to our house but I love her with all my heart! She is so nice and fun to play with. She is like a sister to me. But a bad thing is that mommy and daddy have been arguing over the smallest things even I dont get made at; and yesterday this rando walk into our house and started talking to them I heard her say Esme which made me worry, I really hope she isnt leaving. Sometimes I wonder what mommy, daddy and that other lady talk about. But im usually in the playroom with Esme.

Taylor Kelce's POV:
The social worker came to the house today to make sure we were the right fit for Esme. God I hope she let us adopt her. Esme and Vera have gotten so close in the past few months I dont know what Vera would do without her bestfriend. One night when me and travis had been fighting I heard sobs coming from the playroom. As soon as me and Trav made up I walked into the playroom to see Esme comforting Vera because of our fight. Since that night we havent fought in front of them. I love Esme so much she was like my own. Which hopefully she will be in a few days. She asked if she could call me mom. I of course said yes and later that night I cried the happiest tears of my life. I just pray she gets to stay here and doesnt have to go back to that shitty foster home.

Social Workers POV:
Taylor and Travis Kelce's house was absolutely stunning and a perfect fit for Esme. I said I would get back to them in a few days. But what I wanted to say was their house was a perfect fit for her and give them adoption papers right then and there. But if I did that I would lose my job and that would not be good at all. I really hope the court agrees with me and that poor little girl doesnt have to go back to that ugly terrible foster home.

*NEXT DAY*

Taylor Kelce's POV:
Today I got an email about getting something in the mail from the social worker. I told Trav amd we were so nervous and right when we got notified that it was deliveried we sprinted out the door and I yanked the report out of the mailbox and ripped it open. I the later realized that I should have opened it inside because I remembered that the media didnt know about any of this. But I only saw one pap so its not that bad. I hope. When the letter was opened I screamed so loud I think everybody in the neighborhood could hear it. I looked at Travis with tears in my eyes and the biggest smile on my face. His mouth opened in shock, "Is she staying!? Are we her parents?!" He asked I nodded my head because in the moment I was crying too hard to form words. Travis immedietly lifted me up and spun me around kissing me over and over again. We then went inside and we were so overjoyed the rest of the day. Later that night after we said goodnight to the girls we decided that we would announce to the media and to Vera and Esme that she would be staying with us for forever. We figured we should also get some sleep. So we headed upstairs and plopped down on the bed.

Esme Andersen's POV:
Today I was woken up by my isanely loud alarm. Gosh I hated that thing. I slipped out of bed and walked slowly to my closet. I pulled out the cutest leapord print skirt and a cropped black shirt paired with my doc martin sandles. For jewlery I am wearing my gold cross necklace, a white kendra scott necklace and chunky gold hoops for earrings and I only wore one bracelet that is for suicide prevention. Since my mom commited thats how I ended up in a terrible home before this one. Anyways once I was done changing I walked down the stairs to the kitchen. My mom made overnight oats for me since I really enjoyed the ones she made. But of course Vera had a yogurt bowl because she is so obsessed with them, I swear she would marry yogurt if she could. Once I was done eating I went back upstairs to brush my teeth, blow dry my hair, and curl it really quickly. I finished curling it and me, mom, and Vera all headed out the door.

Travis Kelce's POV:
I got done with practice and headed home to Taylor and Vera since I knew Esme was still in school. I walked in the front door I heard Barbie on in the living room and music coming from the kitchen. I walked into the living room to see Vera watching the tv, "Hey 'Ver wheres mommy?" She pointed to the kitchen so I walked over and saw her on her phone watching TikTok while listening to Lana Del Ray also waiting for the cookies in the oven to be done so she could put another batch in. I wrapped my arms around her and felt her relax a little bit. I kissed her cheek and walked on the other side of the counter, I looked over and saw the sign Taylor made to tell Esme that she was staying with us forever. The sign was so cute and it said, 'Yesterday you shared our love and home but next week you will also be sharing our last name!' I smiled at the thought and heard her giggle. God I love that sound so much. I looked at her going over and attacking her with kisses so I could hear the beautiful sound again. "Trav stop!" She said still laughing, "Never." she giggled some more and then they slowly died down. She looked at the timer and realized the cookies were done. She got up and pulled the ones in the oven out so she could put the next in. Once she was done with that I picked her up throwing her over my shoulder, she gasped and then started laughing again. I walked her over to the couch where we would lay and cuddle until we had to go pick up Esme from school.

Esme Andersen's POV:
The first day was finally over and I could go home. I saw mom's car in the parking lot and walked over. Vera wasnt with her so I knew dad was home. "How was your day honey?" She questioned "Pretty good for the first day!" I answered. She smiled at me and put on some music and we laughed and sang. It was probably the best ride home I have ever had. Once we got home I unbuckled my seatbelt and jumped out of the car. Mom got out shortly after. We walked in the house and I saw my dad standing infront of something holding Vera. He suddenly turned around and I gasped. I saw the sign and immedietly started crying. "Are you serious?!" "Yes honey we are!!" "OMG!" I yelled and hugged them so tight. None of us could stop smiling the rest of the night.

Okay yall this is the last of the flashback so now they are going to be in present day!!
