Miniforce: The Darkness That Protects The Light

Ray has been keeping a dark secret from his friends and girlfriend, he has been keeping this secret from everyone for the past 3 months and even Dr. Tao. Ray has been cutting himself with a dagger that his dad gave him for self defense from humans and other animals, he has been cutting himself in the bathroom. He would always do it whenever Lucy was out or when she was not home or even with him.   

*Ray's past*

Ray had a hard childhood growing up his mom would often beat him for no reason at all and it was so often that Ray lost his emotion of happiness and empathy getting  used to the beating from his mom. His father tried his best to protect him from his mother to the point where Ray's mother accused his father for hurting him both physical and verbal abuse towards Ray. For all does fake accusations his father went to jail for child neglect and went was sentence to 6 years in jail.

As Ray got older he was like a slave to his mother he was never viewed as a son to her, she viewed him as a mistake and a useless brat. One when Ray's mother left for work and would not be back until nighttime, Ray deiced to sing the song that he always heard his father sing whenever his mother was not home. Ray had a problem he never liked the feeling of being alone so he decided to call on of his friends from Miniforce training academy. Lucy, she has lavender-pink hair that is long tied into a pony tail with bangs in the front, with a pair of fox ears knitted from a portion of her hair. She wears a white long sleeve shirt that has a pink flower design on the back and pink roses on the front. Lucy wears a skirt that reach's her just below the knee that has the same design as the long sleeve shirt, she wears pink and white ankle boots high heel lace up boots sweet lace back zipper to make herself a bit taller, and  her signature red ribbon around her neck. Her eyes are a reddish-pink. ¨Hi Ray!¨ Lucy said as she gave him a hug. After Ray explained everything to Lucy, she agreed to give him company as he sang to her. Ray got his phone and searched for the song and put the karaoke version. 

Ray began to sing.

Ray sang as tears fromed in his eyes. Lucy had a idea to help Ray. Before Ray sing again Lucy stared to sing with him.

Written in stone
Every rule, every word
Centuries-old and unbending
"Stay in your place"
"Better seen and not heard"
Well, now that story is ending

She began as Ray looked at her in shock.

'Cause I
I cannot start to crumble

Ray sang along with Lucy syncing their voices.

Lucy and Ray sang as they interlocked their hands to one another.

The song ended and both of them embraced each other while Ray shaded tears. After some talking Lucy made sure to let Ray know that she is here for him whenever he needs it. Lucy had to go because her parents needed her before she left she planted a kiss on Ray's cheek before leaving. Ray felt happy again and he smiled as Lucy waved good-bye to him as she disappeared from his line of sight. Ray always remembered that day up until he was able to tell Lucy what he has been doing and ask for help.
