Me and one other person were left in the room. "I think the buddy system is the best way to get out of here. Like to actual trust each other and watch each others backs'." He said while looking around. "Yeah it probably is, but how am I supposed to trust you. I don't even know you." I replied while grabbing anything useful that I saw laying around. After the words left my mouth he stuck out his hand "hi I'm Braylon but you can call me Bray. I'm from kisd sector, I'm very trustworthy, and you are very pretty." He said with a cheeky grin and looked into my eyes with his own Forrest green ones. "Well I'm Tessa and I'm from Treas City Sector.....uh thanks?" I said back uncertainly. "Come on now let's get going" he grabbed my arm and started to lead me away. "Wait," I said thinking critically "It's everyone's first instinct to go through the doorway straight into the maze right? Well-just a thought- what if the exit is really in this room somewhere. I mean wouldn't that be the most thought out answer?" I said looking around, regretting my decision to say that aloud "nevermind it was a stupid ide-" I started "No, actually that's really smart. And there's no harm in looking right?" Braylon replied, already looking for hidden doors. Thinking of the more obvious appraise I grabbed all the books off the bookshelf-no luck. Then, I tried to look for anything off in the room and saw that the chandelier was in balanced and that there was one less diamond on one side than on the other 3. "Braylon, look." I pointed up to the chandelier and after a few seconds he seemed to realize what I was pointing at and helped me look around for where it might be, after a lot of looking I realized the chandelier probably was just broken and it didn't need to be replaced. Frustrated, I threw myself down on the a chair only to jump back up in pain "OWWW OW OW OW OW OW!!" Screaming I looked down and saw the chairs stitching was off and a random lump. "What? What happened? Are you okay?" Braylon asked in concern while I ripped open the cushion and pulled out the missing piece of chandelier. "How the he-" Braylon started before I interrupted him,"find a ladder or something so we can put it back." I said in a rush looking around and deciding our only option was the bookshelf. After helping Braylon drag it over I climbed it and connected the missing piece and waited for a few seconds of nothing happening "I'm sorry it was a waste of Tim-" I started only for the maze entry door to slam shut and one wall to open up to show dozens of sets of eyes watching us. Helping me climb down, Braylon and I stood and looked at them for a few minutes, then examining us. "Congratulations you two. You are the first out of the maze. Please come with us and we will lead you to your new rooms."as strange as it sounds-I kinda don't wanna leave Braylon's side. He's my only friend so far, but before I said anything he beat me to it. "Actually could Tess and I stay close together, or.....,?" He questioned me immediately agreeing by nodding my head. "I suppose. Due to being he first to complete this stage, next time you will get a bonus. Goodbye." The same last said before they started to replace the torn up chair and clean up the room before closing the wall and making it appear as if nothing had ever happened. The wall back to the rooms was silent Few come one day later. Days later others come out
