Chapter 5 : Something new and Something Terrible on the horizons

      Lucius was now having a break with Eros in the garden as Eros pestered him again to join him, but he wasn't even paying attention to him as his thoughts were occupied by Arkian's strange behavior in the past few days.

He was avoiding them with eagerness. Everytime he or Alessio would pass by or see him in the hallways, he would either enter a random room or turn around and walk back to his direction. It was infuriating and quite irritating. He even tried once to call him but Ark would just nod before walking away again.

Its getting worse, whoever that fucking Lloyd is, he had corrupted his baby brother's mind that made him change his attitude towards him and Alessio

" Luci, you're not paying attention to me again...what's gotten into you?" Eros whined as he was pouting, Lucius just sighs as he was getting annoyed with Eros's behavior.

"It's nothing, I got a lot on my mind right now." Lucius just explained, his voice filled with indifference. Honestly, he forgot why he fell with Eros. Sure he was quite pretty and feminine, with Curly brown hair, baby ish face and beautiful green eyes, he was pretty but that just it. He was nothing more than a pretty face, he doesn't even know that much politics and would constantly avoid that topic.

"But Luci, at least listen to my story, I got a bad day!" Eros whined again, honestly it was getting to Lucius's patience now how childish Eros is.

'I wonder if Arkian would look much cuter if he did it' Lucius thought randomly before stilling as he was slightly baffled at what he thought. Did...did he just think that small brat would look much cuter when whining? What the hell had gotten into him this days?

Lucius was sure he was losing his mind, since when did he think Arkian as cute? He was an annoying pest that can't be removed but right now, seeing Arkian avoiding him and Alessio made his mind and heart slightly conflicted and hurt. He needs to talk to Arkian and confront him on why he's ignoring his big brothers.

He never had this strong desire for Ark to notice him or at least acknowledge him, both him and Alessio hated him with so much but now having a change of heart, he really want to get to know his baby brother.

Lucius remember that he never had this kind of emotion to Ark when they were younger, he was always seen as a pest by him and Alessio. But with Arkian's indifference and giving cold shoulders to them, it felt like their hearts were suddenly torn to shred.

Alessio had talk to him earlier this week on how he felt guilty on how they had treated their youngest and honestly, Lucius had felt guilty too when he realized Arkian didn't deserved what Lucius and Alessio had done to him.

And now both of them were determine to right their wrong, if only Arkian wouldn't make it harder by avoiding their presence.

Although he have every right to do so after everything they had put him to.

"You should head back home, I have work to do" Lucius said coldly as he stood up, Eros tried to protest but was ignored by Lucius and the servants quickly tries to usher him to follow Lucius's command

Eros look at Lucius back as he left him there at the garden, he clenched his teeth as his fist tightened.

Arkian was having a bad week, every since that day he attempted to commit suicide he was put in constant watch 24 hours, he was never alone wherever he goes, there will be servants or guards watching him. He can't even take a breather.

Sometimes even Lucius or Alessio would also watch him or at least tried to as he was avoiding them. Especially Lucius, seeing the duke would always stare at him like a hawk, it was creepy. Too creepy.

Alessio although would try to talk to him or at least start a conversation but Arkian would quickly escape him or hide whenever he sees him.

   Right now, Arkian was in his room pacing back and forth, he needs to find a way to get back to his big brother Lloyd without alerting anybody.

Arkian then sighs tiredly as he rub his temple in frustration and annoyance. His constant move was always guarded especially by Xavier, his old servant that didn't care about him in his first life.

He seems to know whatever Arkian does without even looking at him. He's always hovering above him that it was frustrating.

He really needs a new plan for him to go back to his home, his life with his only big brother.

Just a little longer, big brother Lloyd.... I'll find a way to come back to you.

Helios Noxius Secro, the crowned prince was on his way to visit the Decroix estate and see his fiancé for the first time, he remembered Eros keep saying how awful Arkian was and how he had mocked Eros for being in a lower status than him.

Helios tapped his fingers on the seatof the carriage as he look forward to seeing his little fiancé.

Although Helios doesn't really remember the face of his fiancé as both Duke Lucius and Commander Alessio always avoids the topic of their little brother like a plague.

Helios also heard the news on how the youngest Decroix had attempted to commit suicide and was unsuccessful in doing it and was left bedridden for days.

"How do you think would my fiance react seeing me, Elios?" Asked Helios teasingly as he smirked lazily.

"We should see when we see him, Your highness" replied Elios blankly as he look up from his book before reading again.

Elios Thomas Lazar, the marquess and messenger of the crowned prince was traveling with him to the Decroix estate.

"You're no fun, Eli. I just want to see if all Eros had said about him is true." Whined Helios mockingly but Elios didn't even acknowledge him and just continued on his reading.

In about 30 minutes, they then arrived at the Decroix estate and had seen Eros's carriage had just left.

'Hm? How strange....Eros said he'll be visiting his cousin, why is he here at the Decroix?' Helios thought before chuckling as he now knows that Eros had lied to him to go here.

They then got off of their carriage as Helios look at the estate and saw the servants waiting for him at the entrance.

"Well then, let's see my fiancé, shall we?"
