Arjun's POV
I was at the practice arena.
I heard the sound of her anklet.
I continued practicing... But I was distracted.. I could hear her laughing and running
I gave up and put the bow aside
I went outside wiping the sweats off with a towel
She was pampering a white cat.
She didn't even notice me.. She was talking to the cat in a cute voice
"Did i distract you arya?!" She quickly stood up seeing me.
"You did.. But it's okay.. Who's cat is that?" I asked her as i saw a golden chain on it's neck
"I don't know.. It was in the garden.. It's cute isn't it?" She asked kissing the cat
I took the cat from her arms.
"It was in the garden? That's strange.." I said looking at the cat
"I'll leave him in the garden if you don't want to keep it arya.." She sounded sad
"You can keep it if you want" i smiled at her and gave her the cat kissing her on her temple
She smiled whole heartily.. She put the cat on the ground and hugged me tightly
She kissed me on my nose.. I smiled at her
"I'm really hungry! Can we go eat breakfast?" I asked tucking her hair behind her ear
She nodded with a smile and gave the cat to her maid
I took her hands in mine..
"Are you busy today?" She asked looking at me
"I'm never busy for you.. Why did you ask?" I asked with a smile
"Nothing" she smiled at me cancelling her eyes off me
She went to the kitchen to take food.
I sat on the chair. A maid helped her serve food for us both..
I pulled her chair towards mine as she sat down. She chuckled seeing my gesture. I smiled and took a bite of my food, my eyes were on her.. She was looking beautiful as ever.. The green lehanga was making her look more prettier. It brought out her hazel eyes.. She caught me staring at her.
"What?" She asked turning her attention to me
"Just admiring the view" i smiled making her smile.
"Aren't you bored of sitting here all day? Don't you want to see indraprastha?" I asked her
"You're always busy arya.. And i don't blame you.. I know how hard it is to rule a kingdom without any help. I mean, i can imagine" I smiled hearing her
"I'm never busy for you, love. Why don't i show you around today. I have a meeting now. I'll see you after that?" I suggested
She smiled and nodded
I headed to the hall after finishing breakfast.
The meeting was short. I checked out the requests and suggestions from the people and arranged the minister to look into it.. I walked upstairs to our room and found subhadra standing in the balcony, lost in deep thoughts
I walked towards her and hugged her from behind.
"What's going on in this pretty head of yours" i asked kissing her temple.. My lips trailing kisses down to her cheek, and then her neck.
"Nothing.. I was waiting for you" She said kissing the back of my hand.
She turned towards me, i took hold of her cheeks
"Ready for the trip?" I asked
She smiled and nodded
I took her hand in mine and walked downstairs, i helped her get on my horse. I got the horse and hugged her from behind.
"Comfortable?" I asked her
She nodded her head
I drove the horse towards the mayavan.
