When Naina left water pond Reema thought that she was just playing with her and will be back. However even after waiting for more than fifteen minutes when Naina didn't show up she assumed that her friend must have left. Hence, she also returned to home without looking for Niana in way.

Night was started to fall earlier because of rainy clouds, when she reached home. Most people finished their work earlier than usual and returned back home. Nandi Ram also came back from havali.

It was dinner time when Nandi Ram noticed absence of Naina. He didn't saw her since he came back from work, it used to Naina giving him water whenever he returned from work. Today his wife Karuna gave him that was also when he asked, but he didn't gave much thought toward Naina 's presence. At dinner Naina was used to serve him than he realised her absence and ask his wife, " Where is Naina? I didn't saw her around!" To which Karuna replied, " I don't know. Neither I have seen her since noon. She must be playing around with someone to escape from helping me in house hold. She never listened to me run around whole village." by exaggerating things.

Nandi Ram was well aware about his wife's nature as he knew Naina would never egnore house chores. She always stands on one foot untill she didn't complete her work. Not buying what his wife spiting about Naina finished his food as soon as possible and went upstairs to find Naina while shouting her name. But he didn't find her there.

He also inquired from his both sons if they kow about their sister, but they also shook their head not knowing about Naina. Afterwards turned to main door to look for Naina. His heart was not an ace after knowing that Naina is not at home till this time when it was raining cats and dogs.

He search neighbouring houses where could he thought Naina go along with the places where she used to spend time. Rain was getting heavier but no-one know about her where about. Even two-three neighbours also started helping Nandi Ram to find Naina as it was very unusual of Naina going somewhere with informing because she was tagged as most obident child.

They also reached to Reema's house when they inquired about Naina to her, she lied that she didn't met her today. She got scared firstly because of her mother strictly prohibited her going to forest and water pond. She knew if her came to know about her visiting water pond , she will be getting beaten by her mother mercilessly. Secondly Naina got lost because of her , 'if she had listened to Naina and came back with her' or 'if she made Naina stop with her and coming back together' or 'if she had didn't force her friend to go to water pond at first place ' if she had....

Till mid night almost whole village was came to know about Naina' missing news. Few was worried for that innocent soul and few who was jealous from her beauty and innocence started bad mouthing about her with motive to turnish her image. They started making assumptions of running away with her lover or having multiple affairs or enticing rich man with her beauty and so on.

As famous saying ' roumers spread faster than truth', just like that bad words about Naina was spreading more in village. Even in house Nandi Ram was worried about Naina, Karuna was making fuss coursing her for ruining their reputation in society along with puting allegations on her husband to bring Naina home ande spoiling her.

Whereas Nandi Ram was having emotions of worry and fear at the same time, thinking that where his niece went, in what condition shile might be in, maybe someone had kidnapped her or she really left with some guy. With all these shuffling of thoughts, no one noticed time as next day was about to begin.

On the other side, Avinash dorped Naina at little distance from her house, and indicated her to go ahead. Naina started walking towards her house while having sence of fear, fear that something bad will be going to happen.
