In the ruins of a small town, with concrete slabs and pieces of houses and shops lying about, soldiers in big mechanized suits stalk around the area. Their gears creaked in the dead silence as the crescent moon watched from above. The red lights from their solver suits illuminated the area, yet still, something small and fast dashed in the shadows. The soldiers were unaware and continued inspecting the area. The shadowed figure climbed up a wall and jumped from one cracked roof to another. A singular piece of debris fell from the ceiling. The noise shot through the silence like a bullet, and the soldiers all turned their heads toward the sound. They brought out their mechanized guns, specially made for the suits, and began going towards the sound, weapons at the ready. But they found nothing when the soldiers inspected the dark area. Then, from behind, snagging the soldier in the back of the group, a web shot out and pulled the soldier into another area of darkness. His scream of surprise got the other soldiers' attention, but the one soldier was already gone from view. The rest of the group looked around for their comrade and spread out, guns still ready. They now knew for sure she was here.
One of the soldiers went inside a destroyed house. Furniture that looked partly torn apart riddled the house. The soldier looked around. Just as he turned to leave, she landed on his shoulders. She punched her hand through the helmet of the mechanized suit, wrapping her hand around the neck of the soldier. And with one swift jerk, she broke his neck. She rode the body as it fell to the ground and then stood up, still concealed by the dark shadows in the house. She wore a denim blue and gray suit with black cargo pants and rebel soldier boots. And over her face was a blue mask with large white lenses. The design of spider webs went over her upper arms and torso on the fabric of her suit. She looked down at her feet and saw a stuffed bear with its stuffing squeezing through a hole in its head. Once belonged to a child that she knew was probably dead. Another life meaninglessly lost in the war that tore apart this world. The small figure jumped and attached herself to the ceiling. She crawled out of a hole in the roof and jumped across multiple other roofs.
As the night went on, the Spiderman picked the rest of the soldiers off one by one. She broke their necks with her hands and webs. Once they were all finished, she looted the suits and materials each soldier carried. These things would be good use to a much more respectable group. And eventually, her people would be free.
