.~O/N POV~.

I walk out to the yellow field, thinking about what the next challenge is going to be. Sighing and rolling my eyes as I see Naily drowning an innocent flower, while Remote and Pen stand next to her. Hearing Remote bicker with Naily and Pen just...also there, wasn't helping since I got nearly no sleep. I walk over as Two explains that the pool is there as a 'funny plant revival idea'...Which it was very clear that it did not work out. I stand next to Pen as Two goes on about they wanted to make our environment more livable, so they got us 6 shiny, beautiful plates. Everyone seems to like the plates; myself included. Though, the admiration is cut short as Pillow abruptly breaks one. They then go do the cake at stake or whatever. I look around for my teammates on 'Are you okay?', forgetting that Pen was still standing next to me, and I get startled slightly.

"Hey, Pen. Where's the rest of our team?" I ask. It still felt weird to talk to him and anyone else on our team. I only ever first joined during 'The Power of Two', but I know that they've all been in BFDIA, so they all know each other, and I'm only here because Two put me on a random team, since there were too many contestants to split up evenly.

"Oh, I uhh...I'm not sure...We should probably go find them so we're ready to start whatever the next contest is."

I nod and I walk with Pen to find where the rest of our team were. We were walking awfully close to each other...I don't even talk to him, or know that much about him, but I could feel my face heat up. We continue to walk around, checking around Gb's lab, the Hotel, and various other places. When we returned, they were all with Two, and now our walk seemed so useless and time wasting.

"Aww, man..."

I guess Pen had the same opinion on this as me. But even if it was super annoying that we did all of that, I wouldn't say I hated it...

.~Pen POV~.

As I walked over to Two with O/n, I noticed how...quiet they were being. Like, I know it was probably weird since we don't interact much, but it was almost...too quiet. A bit mysterious. But interesting too. Kinda like TD, or something. I've been meaning to hang out with them. If we're on a team together, we should at least know a little bit about each other. Maybe I could ask them if they wanted to do something fun? Like, go-karting or something of the sort. That way it's fun but we also have the chance to maybe become friends? I'll just have to ask them after the contest...

.~EPIC TIMESKIP BECAUSE WE ONLY WANT THE FUN PARTS OF THIS ONESHOT!! (aka I don't want to write about the contest hehehe)~.

.~O/N POV againnnnn~.

"Hey, O/n?" 

I turn over to look at whoever called my name, and it was Pen. Just seeing him made my face feel a little warm...I then noticed that I still hadn't responded, and my face heated up a little more from the slight embarrassment... 

"Hm?"

"Do you, like, want to go out and do something with me?"

I almost instantly just froze at the words...But thing that was not frozen was my racing heartbeat.

WHATTTT-

"L-Like...A Date...?"

You could see Pen's face look at me in confusion as he tries to understand what in the heck i was talking about, before it finally clicked, and he realized how weird his question sounded.

"NO! No, I-I didn't mean it like that! S-sorry- I meant, I wanted to know if you wanted to hang out and get to know each other!"

I smiled a little as I saw his face become redder than mine...It made me want to tease him just a little...

"So...You're still asking me on a date?~"

He bites his lip a little and looks away as his face literally became more red than Charlie's mom from HFJONE. It was honestly one of the cutest things I've seen...

"...Y'know what? Sure. Why not?"

Pen had gotten Eraser to drive us to this arcade. I was pretty excited since I hadn't been at that place since...a while? I didn't really count the years. I had heard...or rather eavesdropped on them talking about the arcade earlier. Something about how Pen had to borrow Erasers money because he was in debt. Not sure how much debt, but I'm sure that Pen is at least a little responsible with his money so it can't be that bad...Probably.

"O/n! We're here!"

I nod and I unbuckle the seatbelt and I see Pen open the car door for me.

"There you go...Geltl-...Mada-...Person. I don't know?"

I laugh a little as he struggles to call me something more 'elegant'. I get out of the car and I walk inside the arcade with him.

"You're such a dork..."

We spent what felt like 90% of the time playing shooting games and Skee-Ball...for some reason. But it was still fun because for whatever reason, pen was a god at them and he got us like, a ton of tickets, and we went to the prize counter.

.~Pen POV ajsnndsond~.

I held our tickets, of which there was about maybe 600 of? And I looked at the prizes. Most of it was cheap junk you could buy for less than $3 from Yellow Face. I watched as O/n was staring at one prize specifically- A cute pink bear plushie. I automatically knew that that's what I had to get since I had asked them on this 'date'. I tell the guy at the counter, and I give him the tickets. I hold the plushie in my hands before handing it to O/n. Their face lit up from happiness and they hugged the plushie tightly.

"THANKYOUTHANKYOTUDHTNAKYU!!!"

I smile softly at their joyful reaction. And before I knew it, I had leaned in...and I kiss their cheek softly. It just felt like my body moved on it's own...I backed up and I stared at the ground for a few moments, and then looking back up at O/n to see their reaction, and they hugged me.

"Look who's the dork now. Hehe."

"Shut up..."
