Listen to Me - Second Part
Even after the recording ended, Tiffany still avoided Jessica. The older girl felt the frustration of being ignored building up. The other members could only stare at the two with pity, knowing that something was going on but decided to stay silent and let them fix their problem alone.Yuri was the last one to exit the room, she gave Jessica an encouraging squeeze to assure the girl that everything was going to be fine. The older girl thanked Yuri for that, and so Yuri went her own way.
Jessica approached the dressing room, only one member left was there inside, everyone had already left to the van. Jessica wanted to thank the members for understanding and helping despite them not knowing anything (or maybe they knew but kept silent).
Jessica opened the door, expecting to see Tiffany inside, and there she found her.
"Tiff..." Jessica started, she had prepared everything she wanted to say to Tiffany earlier before. But now, standing in front of the girl, she forgot all that she had prepared. What was she supposed to say? Why did she even bother trying to explain anything? It was not like they were anything in the first place.
Jessica was second thinking her decision, why was she here? To explain to Tiffany that she was not dating anyone and that she only wanted her? Was she brave enough to do that? To confess all her bottled up feelings? Yes, Jessica was in love with Tiffany. But she was afraid, she was a courage in love.
They kept playing this teasing game, but no one dared to make a move. Jessica knew that Tiffany was not hers, she knew she had to end the teasing game they were in if she wanted Tiffany to be hers. She had to be the bigger person and surrender to this game.
So she had decided.
Tiffany had her back turned to Jessica, she was busy putting in her stuff inside the bag. She hadn't given any sort of acknowledgement to Jessica's presence, but Jessica knew Tiffany was listening.
"Tiff, that rumor. It wasn't true." She started, her voice was lower than usual. Jessica fidgeted in her spot, trying to come up with a new solution seeing that Tiffany wasn't responding.
After a while Tiffany turned around to finally face her, Jessica breath hitched for a second when she saw Tiffany's natural beautiful face, but what she said next definitely ruined that.
"So?" That reply shocked Jessica, here she was expecting Tiffany to at least show some sort of happiness with the news she just broke but the girl gave her none of that. Tiffany looked so nonchalant about the whole thing, and it made her want to hide herself somewhere. Had she been the only one thinking that all their teasing meant something more?
"W-well, I just wanted to let you know." The tear was threatening to spill from her eyes, but she needed to be strong. She still needed to save her pride, screw confessing. She was hurt. "...the other members already know, and I thought you should know too." Jessica continued, with a new façade. Trying to seem fine for Tiffany to see, like she wasn't affected at all if Tiffany didn't care about the dating rumor. Jessica stared at the floor under her feet, hiding her eyes away from Tiffany
"I...will go now, you should hurry up as well." Jessica said, hurriedly trying to exit the suffocating room, she needed to get out of here.
Only to be stopped by a hand grabbing on her wrist.
Tiffany slammed her back on the door, slamming it close in the process, and used both her hands to pin Jessica's wrists above her head. Her face was only centimeters away from Jessica's, leaving them with almost no gap.
Jessica's face was red from all the anticipation building up. They never got too far with the teasing, it was all verbal, up until now, she hoped.
If Tiffany wanted to bring the game in a whole new level, than Jessica wouldn't stop that.
