The walk was long but the group made camp , the sky dark and littered with bright stars. Ser Criston and Ser Kevan kept watch of the Princesses. They were tending to the fire that Ser Kevan made. Once he was finished he stood up , "Princess, I must make a final plea that we return to the camp."

Rhaenyra eyed the blonde knight, "We are at camp... it's just not the King's. I rather prefer it here anyways, away from everyone." Ser Kevan sallowed heavily nodding. Ser Kevan turned to Elaena as Ser Criston shifted uncomfortably. "Princess would you like to go back... to the Kings Camp?"

"Ser Kevan is right we should've been heading back to the camp before we lost daylight. We don't even I have a tent we can share, we're alone in the wilderness." Elaena stood up facing her sister arms crossed her chest.

"If you felt this way, why would you even follow me out into the wilderness? Hm? Why are you here then?" Rhaenyra scoffed. Elaena narrowed her eyes at her younger sister. "I did it for you! I didn't want you to be alone, I thought you just needed a few hours to cool off. But it seems you needed longer."

Rhaenyra rose to her feet to match her sisters aura. "Did it for me? Are you so blind that you could not see that it was you that wounded me? That has placed me in such state?"

Elaena scoffed seething, "I? Tis' was you that has been in a foul mood for three years Rhaenyra! When will you let go that father has married another?"

Rhaenyra faltered, taking a step back. "How could you not? She was our friend!"

Elaena sighed taking a deep breath, before turning to their knights. "Leave us."

"I would not advise—" Ser Kevan started before being interrupted.

"Well thank the gods the princess Elaena isn't asking for your advice. The heir to the iron throne asked you to leave." Rhaenyra spat.

"Do not speak to Ser Kevan that way." Elaena quickly snapped. The two knights walked away not to far from the princess's. Rhaenyra gritted her teeth tears threatening to spill from her eyes. "See! Look what you just did!"

Elaena's face twisted in confusion, "What did I do?"

"You take others sides against mine, never mine." Rhaenyra cried. Elaena rolled her eyes. "You sound like a child Rhaenyra. You're a woman grown start acting like it before I help father chose your husband that will."

Rhaenyra's eyes went wide tears still stinging her eyes. "You cunt!"

Those words shook Elaena, she instantly drew her hand back and and swung it to connect to Rhaenyra's face. Rhaenyra clutched her cheek, holding it dear. "Why would you do that?"

"Father names me heir, I need you to be by my side , respecting me. And Alicent is my friend, and when father is dead. She'll be my friend then like she is now. I want to you Atleast learn to coexist with her." Elaena tried to reason. Rhaenyra hung her head low, "is she the sister you've always wanted? You also comfort her but rarely me."

Elaena keep her mouth shut, she couldn't look Rhaenyra in the eye. And Rhaenyra noticed that, "I act the way I act because I want your attention fathers too. But as of late you've seemed more concerned about Alicent and Steffon and father's been with that damn baby."

"Leave Aegon out of this. You once told me that you'd be happy if our father had a son." Elaena eyed her sister. "Yes! With our mother not some... some whore that threw themself at the grieving king because she was told to!"

"Watch your tongue when talking about the queen." Elaena whispered, the words dying at her tongue. Her hand slowly made its way to her soft lips, Elaena gasped as she realized she was proving Rhaenyra's point.

Rhaenyra laughed bitterly, "Always out to defend her. One day I'll be gone, one I'll fly far away from you! And all the other fools of kings landing."

"Where would you go?"

"Mayhaps I'd like it at Dragon Stone." Rhaenyra replied crossing her arms.

"Dragonstone is mine Rhaenyra, you have no claim to it. And you won't be going anywhere because father intends to marry you off. It's your duty Rhaenyra. Live with it. Deal with it." Elaena didn't mean it harshly, but she could tell Rhaenyra took it that way. Elaena sighed as she began to walk away from her sister.

"We leave at dusk." She called back to Rhaenyra.

A/N

So I was going to make Rhaenyra and Elaena be a power duo. But show they hate each other? I always want Rhaenyra to do something out of spite to Elaena.

I NEED IDEAS!!!
