You were skipping -- or walking, you choose -- down the sidewalk, before spotting a certain ashy brunette with purple streaks in her hair on the swings at the park. With a grin, you dart over, sneaking up behind Hazel.

You then hug the short girl from behind, who immediately stiffens from the contact, turning her head to glare at whoever it is, before noticing it's you. "Oh...Y/n. Try to warn me next time, I nearly elbowed you in the gut..."

"Hehehe...Oops?" You say with a giggle, as the ashy brunette just sighs. "Anyways...What did you need?" Hazel questions, still not moving away from your touch. You simply shrug at her question, propping your chin on her shoulder. "Nothing much. I was just walking by, and saw you, figured I'd come say hi!"

"Ah." Is all Hazel says, her eyes flickering towards her phone for a second, before looking back at you. "...Hi." She says, the edges of her mouth turning up into a subtle smile. You beam at her words, then your gaze shifts from her to her phone. "Whatcha doing?"

"Oh- Talking to V and M. They're arguing about...Penguins. And doves."

The hazel-eyed girl shrugs, holding up her phone for you to see, leaning towards you a bit. The screen is currently on the group chat her, Valerie, and Min share.

V: 'DOVES ARE SUPERIOR.'

M: 'NUH-UH, PENGUINS R.'

V: 'DOVES CAN LITERALLY FLY, PENGUINS CAN'T-'

M: '...'

M: 'they can if they're thrown hard enough :)'

H: 'you two are blowing up my notifications...shut the hell up.'

M: 'HAZE, HELP ME CONVINCE VAL PENGUINS ARE BETTER-'

H: 'no.'

M: 'HAZEEEEE-'

V: 'HAH-'

You snicker at the sight of the texts, raising an eyebrow and glancing at Hazel. "Do they normally do this?"

"Oh, you'd be surprised the amount of times I'm woken up from notifications because of them."

"Damn."

"That's crazy." Hazel finishes, and you two share a look, before bursting out into giggles. "Eheheheh- Val core!" You say in-between giggles, as Hazel nods in agreement. "V core indeed."

Your guy's giggles eventually die down, and you two just kinda hang around the park for a couple hours, before a certain noirette comes wandering past and noticing the both of you sitting on the bridge of the playground. "Oh- Hey Haze! Y/n!"

Hazel looks away from you and at Min, before raising a hand and waving, as you wave as well. "Hey Min! What up?" You ask, as Min just shrugs, walking to stand under the bridge and look up at you. "Nothin' much-- Heading to Val's house to annoy her. What're you two doin'?"

You and Hazel shrugs in unison, and you move to lean against Hazel's side. "Just talking and whatnot." Min hums and nods, before noticing you leaning against the ashy brunette, who has a very calm reaction to it.

Literally setting her hand on your back.

Min raises an eyebrow, narrowing her eyes and crossing her arms. "You sure that's Haze?"

"Uh...Yeah? Why?"

"Haze doesn't normally let people be all touchy with her. Hell, me and Val rarely touch anywhere except her hands and lower arms. Yet you're leaning against her and she has her hand on your back."
