There is an age old tale in the kingdom of everlasting winter.

It tells of a Queen and her curse.

It begins like this.

One day; in an age long past there was a Queen, a Queen who was not yet a Queen that hid away in her castle until the day of her coronation.

On the day of the coronation she held a magnificent ball to celebrate her crowning, inviting kingdoms from far away to celebrate with her.

Yet the Queen's younger sister questioned her on why she hid away in her castle until this day.

This angered the queen and so she ran off, cursing the kingdom in every step.

This curse caused an everlasting winter to begin to spread through the land not even the Queen's beloved younger sister, escaped the icy grasp of the curse.

Her laughter, once a song that warmed hearts, faded into the chill of the everlasting winter, as she fell into a deep sleep.

But amidst the grief and frozen tears the people shed, a young hero arose.

He was the brave and steadfast fiancé of the princess, his heart intertwined with hers in love and so he vowed to find a way to please the Queen and break the icy chains that ensnared his homeland.

And save his beloved.

Through valleys veiled in frost and peaks kissed by swirling snowflakes, he journeyed to the Queen's castle, now a fortress of ice high in the mountains.

Upon reaching the frozen palace, the hero called out with a voice steady and true, echoing across the icy expanse.

"Come forth, your majesty! Please break this curse you've placed on your people!" His words carried on the biting wind, a plea to save the people.

The Queen emerged from the crystalline halls of her new ice palace, her presence commanding and her gaze sharp as icicles. She regarded him with a mixture of curiosity and disdain, her breath visible in the frosty air.

She used her magic to attempt to shove the hero off the mountain.

Yet, she failed and he managed to capture her.

Once he brought the queen back to the kingdom; he questioned her on how to break the curse.

And so she responded, her voice an angry whisper carried on the winter breeze, she spoke her final curse:

"This everlasting winter shall endure until every man, woman and child who dwell in the Kingdom succumb to this eternal winter."

With those chilling words, the Queen's body began to stiffen, turning into an icy statue that mirrored the coldness of her soul.

When her body turned to ice, the young princess turned to ice as well.

And so, the young hero began to lead the kingdom, alone until his dying breath.

This is the tale of the Kingdom of Arendelle and it's everlasting winter.

There is a rumor of a boy running through the forest. The fairies speak of him and his strength. They speak of how fast he runs. Of who he's running from.

The boy runs and runs they say. Never stopping for a second.

And so, the first to speak to the boy is Sylvie.

She flutters her wings and shimmers in the cold air and she asks the boy why he runs.

He says this, I cannot stop running for they will catch me if I stop.

Who is chasing you? She questions.

The boy doesn't answer.

And so; Sylvie flutters away, annoyed.

The next to speak to him is Jan.

Jan flutters beside him and asks why he runs.

He says this, I cannot stop running for they will catch me if I stop.

Who are they? Jan inquires.

The boy doesn't respond.

And so; Jan flies away in a huff.

The third to speak to him is Analie.

She flutters beside him and asks a question different to those before her.

"What is your name?"

And; the boy stops.

He turns to her and whispers.

"My name is Mikkel."
