"Yes, don't worry. I'll be back well in time for dinner. You know I wouldn't miss it." I shouted through the door.
Smiling at his reply, I walked off.

I was tired after an afternoon of showing fake smiles and reassuring myself that I would be fine. So I had decided to take a walk through the garden to get some fresh air.

I walked along the narrow path which ran along a bed of carnations. I turned my gaze over to the opposite side of the bed of carnations, where a now empty bench held so many precious memories of the time spent with Shuu.

I reached the end of the path, walking a little more, arrived at a open space. It wad a real scene of peace and tranquility. It was a pretty picture: trees swaying in the wind, flowers bright red and yellow were in full bloom.
All that activity was set against the backdrop of the sun, its dying light painting the cloudy skies with soft hues of orange and red.

Settling on a cool grey rock, I pondered over the matter for a long while.

I remembered the day he told me he loved me.....

It was the happiest day of my life.....

But it all shattered when she came......

She has got to go.....

How dare she take him away from me?

Tsk.....

It's about tine I do something.....

"Yuki, is there anything wrong with the food?" Reiji questioned.

I continued to play with the food on my plate.

"Hmm....? No....I'm just not hungry...."

"Then can I have that?" Ayato pointed his fork at my barely touched steak.

"Go ahead....." I pushed my plate in his direction. His eyes lit up at the sight of more food.

The dining hall was quiet; except for the sound if utensils colliding with the plates.

I took a sip from my glass of wine and eyed Shuu and Yui from the corner of my eye.

I lightly chewed on my bottom lip to prevent myself from saying something that I will regret.

I wondered how long I could hold all my emotions before finally breaking....
