The world was filled with monsters, Some were were simple to explain and some defied the entire concept of reality. Hunters rose up to deal with those monsters and by this point even the strangest were taken down by the combined efforts of hunters

Draconis growls at the setting sun breaking out of the Great Jagras skeleton, Draconis has had a massive growth throughout the day. Now being 1.5x the normal height of a regular Jagras. A 500cm and 150cm tall Despite lacking visible eyes, They are there and he can see well. Black smoke and red lightning come out of his mouth every few seconds, His skin less slimy but more resistant, a larger mouth with alot of sharp teeth and he now sports more powerful legs with claws.

Draconis stands up staring at a group of velociprey that saw him awaken, He growls at them but they continue advancing. Then the one at the centre starts screaming which causes the other two to start running after Draconis.
Draconis bares his fangs at them as the first tries to bite his face but he spins and slaps it with his whip like tail peeling off skin. Another one manages to sneak up behind him.
It pounces with it's claws and mouth ready to tear away flesh, Draconis' turns around with his first legs raised and he brings them down on the velociprey. He continues to stomp on the velociprey it's screams encouraging Draconis to continue until it's movements ceased completely.
The other velociprey however were not waiting for their turn, One of them jumps on Draconis' back clawing away at his flesh, Draconis howls in pain trying to throw it off but the other one jumps on his side biting and clawing aswell.
Draconis howls, His anger rising drastically then he falls on his side knocking the wind out of it aswell as breaking a few bones that belonged to the velociprey, He rises pushing through the pain from the one on his back, He bites into the fallen velociprey's neck reaping out a large portion of it's neck.
The remaining velociprey seeing it's comrades fall in such a brutal manner jumps off of Draconis and starts trying to flee from him, It starts running away with all it's might but Draconis gives chase. He won't stop until it's dead.
The velociprey runs but Draconis was getting closer and closer to Velociprey. The velociprey was so close but Draconis pounces on the bird wyvern and the two start rolling for a bit until they stop with Draconis on top of the velociprey.
Velociprey:"Keek!"
*Crunch!*

Y/n:"I thought this would be more exciting"
Y/n comments while waiting for a bite, He is still a trainee so these are the basic skills he is supposed to have but when he accomplishes this he'll finally get to hunt his first monster. It won't be a strong monster maybe a Jaggi, Blango or Maccao.
Y/n:"But it'll do for the moment since I don't know how to fight monsters, But one day"
Y/n feels a pull on the rope and he pulls until a golden fish flies out and lands on Y/n's hands.
Y/n:"I'll be able to kill that bastard"

Draconis yawns walking into his small nesting area, He lays down but then he hears the calls of a velociprey but it's different in a way. Which is just a bunch of leaves.
