Thomas Edison - The maze runner

Emptiness was what I felt at the moment, along with fear and confusion.

I don't know where I was ,how i ended up here, how old I am or even what my name is

All i know is that my screams are not gonna get me anywhere. So I stopped screaming i stood still and waited to see where am heading

I'm in this metallic box that goes rather fast up like an elevator but scarier

My thoughts everywhere but soon interrupted as sunlight was finally seen from where i was

I looked up and a bunch of "a new greenie" "its a girl" "is she hot" "cant wait to meet that chick" were heard that honestly kinda disgusted me

"Hey hey move" someone said rather quickly with what I assumed was a British accent

I looked up to see a guy with blonde hair and his hand down to reach me

I had a feeling i could trust him so I quickly took his hand and stood on the grass

I looked around. Four huge walls surround me and I thought the metallic box was bad

I was so curious and a word didn't seem to come out of my mouth. I knew that even if i ran i wouldn't go anywhere. I was trapped. And so was everybody here

All eyes on me and i felt so uncomfortable. I looked down and crossed my arms over my chest.

Someone touched my shoulder gently and I jumped at the unexpected contact and turned around to see a brunette guy

"Its okay am not gonna hurt you" he said softly

"How do i know that" the first words that came out of my mouth shakily

"Ah she speaks-" another ugly looking guy started saying but was soon cut off by the brunette boy infront of me

"Shut the fuck up Gally. All of you dont you have jobs to do?" He said looking at the guy first and then eyeing every other boy that was standing there

Everyone left but of course not without glancing up at me one last time.

"Thank you" i said gratefully to the boy with a small but genuine smile

"I got you don't worry " he said giving me a bigger one back

"I am Thomas by the way" he said extending his hand for a handshake

"Oh i am... i am , i dont know who i am" I replied chuckling awkwardly

"Dont worry it takes time. No one knew their names when they first got here. It will come to you eventually. Along with other facts about you or even memories " he said looking down at me

I just looked down not knowing what to say or how i got into this mess. My thoughts all over the place as i was getting anxious about how my life will be from now on

"And dont worry i will be here for every step of your way if you ever need me" he said smiling while looking deeply into my eyes . And that made my heart flutter

"Thank you Thomas" i said smiling up at him

4 months later

A new greenie arrived this morning so we were throwing the traditional greenie party or whatever that is. I still don't get it.

I've been here for 4 months now. I made a couple of friends. Newt , Chuck , Minho , Ben , Eric , Frypan and some others. But i still disliked some others like Gally , William , Ruby and some others that have been nothing but sexists and rude since the moment i got here.
