Introductory Special Exam Part : 1

[ Ayanokoji's POV]

The mid-term ended without any big problem. After a hard working month ,we have managed to gain 94 additional class points thanks to the mid term results. But it doesn't really matter because every other classes gained 90+ class points in this midterm exam.

"We worked so hard,yet we didn't close the gap in terms of Class points," Horikita spoke as she looks unsatisfied with the results.

"Don't sweat it Horikita -san. I am sure there will be those"special exams " that will help us close the gap." Hirata Yosuke,the girl magnet said that.

" But If we already knew that the test will be from the previous year ,then why did we even bother to study. It was a pain in the ass ngl."

" You don't understand a thing ,do you karuizawa san?"

Karuizawa was surprised hearing hirata's remark. I decided to join the conversation,

" It's just a short term gain. There is no guarantee that the next test will be repeated from previous years. So we got to maintain academic balance in our class."

Many students were happy at first after we bought the info,some also thought that we would overtake other classes by knowing the S system beforehand. But to everyone's surprise,every class managed to preserve their position. I wonder which class the white room students are in. It's completely possible that they are in different class. Or even this class. But I don't think that old man would place them with my class.

They haven't made a move yet to sabotage me or my class. I guess we are in for a long battle. 

Soon after , Chabashira sensei entered the classroom with her usual default expression.

" Everyone,be silent. Normally,I would now explain the S system to you by this time. But you guys already bought the info. So you know what comes next."

" An special exam" Horikita spoke .

"Exactly. An special exam will begin tomorrow. It's called the "Introductory Special Exam ". The difficulty of the exam is not that much with a little exception.Now I will tell the rules. So stfu and listen carefully.

Class D will fight against class C and class A will fight against class B. 38 of you will have a 1 vs 1 against 38students of class C. "

"1 vs 1? Ya mean we gonna fight with em",Sudo Ken shouted.

" Not necessary. The matchups will be pre determined. But about the subject of the match. You would decide on it. "

" What's that supposed to mean?" Everyone was still confused.

" Silence! You and your opponent will decide the subject of the battle. For example,what would you suggest for your game?"

"Duh,Imma challenge em in basketball in 1vs 1and imma crush em."

" As sudo said,if the opponent agrees,then the event will be basketball. But if opponent disagrees,then you two would discuss further until you unanimously come to a decision."

" What exactly can we propose sensei?"

" Anything. Even games that involves luck such as rock paper scissors or playing a video game or having an academic battle. Everything is allowed. But it has to produce a result. For example, someone chose"chess". Then they have to come up with certain rules so that the game doesn't end up in a draw. "

" What if we can't agree on a particular event unanimously? " Horikita asked a question that has been going through the minds of many students.

" Then the school will randomly chose an event. And yeah, violence and forcing the opponent to quit will result immediate disqualification. You can't help your classmate with an event as well. It's an individual exam for 38 students."

"Aren't there 40 of us sensei?"

" I didn't finish yet. From this 38matches,the class with most wins will gain 50 class points and the opponent class will lose 50 class points. Now about the remaining 2 student. Each class will chose 2 commanders that will represent their class. We advice that they should have an academic ability of B+ or A minimum. But you students can send the lower level students as well. 2 of the commanders of class D will have a different game with the 2 commanders of class C. About that, specifics will be disclosed in the exam day aka tomorrow. So select 2 commanders before tomorrow and come to me for finalization. If you can't,two students will be randomly assigned as the commanders. And you would be at massive disadvantage if that happens. That's all about the exam "

[ In Ayanokoji's room]

Ayanokoji along with Hirata, Horikita, Kushida,Kei and Sudo are discussing about the potential strategies in this exams.

" What should we do regarding the exam?" Hirata was the first one to speak 

" First of all ,the exam is tomorrow and the subject of exam will be unanimously decided by students. So we can't do much ,can we?"Horikita joined.

" The best we can do is to tell everyone to practice things they are good at. But then again,it's tomorrow. So we won't get time."

" The main question is who will be the commanders of our class."

" For that ,I am ready to volunteer as I am fairly confident about my academic abilities," Ayanokoji said.

" Yeah. But who should be the second one? There is me, Hirata-kun. Kushida san. "

" Can't koenji Kun be an option."

" Nah. That fucker won't do nothin. He will even quit tomorrow's exam I bet,"

What sudo said is not wrong. I have to solve this Koenji problem asap. 

" There is also Yukimura Kun who is equal if not better than Horikita san in terms of academic ability."

" I suggest Horikita to be the second commander. Remember that Chabashira sensei said that we are allowed to pick up a student who is less than B+ in academics. So I think only academics isn't enough to win the commanders exam. "

After some discussion, Ayanokoji and Horikita were selected as the commanders of class D. 

" But I wonder who would be the commanders of class C? I heard the leader of their class acts like a dictator and is a delinquent. I bet someone like him won't have any good academic ability."

" We can't be sure. We still don't know much about class C. Neither they know about us. So let's do our best."

" Yeah! We'll fuck em over !"

Meanwhile,the other classes also began to move as we go to the exam day.
