The next day was the first rehearsal's of Grease. Grayson decided to be a jockster and actually dress up as Danny. which in the long run helped out and got him extra credit. *eye rolls* we worked on scene one where Danny and Sandy say goodbye for the summer. We were aloud to have our scripts since we haven't fully memorized.
"What are we going to do?" I (sandy asked)
"Well there is always next summer right?" Grayson said. (Danny)
"Yeah- but I don't know if I can wait that long."
(Side note this is a modern day grease) (I think lol I'm not to sure yet)
"Okay I'm Danielle I would like you to be worried and looking at the floor and Grayson will see you sad and come and put both hands on your triceps. Comforting her." Mrs.Reynolds said.
"Um? Okay." Grayish said a little confused. We restarted the seen.
"What's wrong?" Grayson added.
"Um- that's not in the script Grayson." Mrs Reynolds cut in.
"I-I know it just seems right."
"Okay we will run it like that once let's see how it looks."
Grayson nodded and began again. "What's wrong?"
"What are we going to do?" Grayson then slowly put his hands on my shoulder and slid down. I got chills. I looked into his eyes and he looked into mine. We both seemed to be in that moment forever, until mrs.reynolds cut in again and asked what's up.
"Not-nothing." I said pulling away from Grayson's grip and looking away. Why did I feel like that? I need to see Ethan right away.
"Um, mrs.reynolds may I use the restroom?"
"Fine-" she said annoyed.
I ran up the stairs seeing Grayson so confused on why I was running from him. I mean why I needed to go to the restroom. Because that's why I left.
I texted Ethan to meet me by the drama room and he did.
"Hey." I said worriedly.
"What's up?" He asked a little out of breath.
"Um- I don't know if I can do this Danny and sandy thing with Grayson. It's so weird."
"Well at least it's weird not like there's something going on with you two." He chuckled. I laughed along. What was going on?! This is not okay.
"Well I gotta go babe mrs.reynolds will think I ditched." I pecked his lips tasting his Chapstick, pulling away I winked and went inside.
