Winter's days had become a delicate balance between spending time with Minju and managing her complicated emotions regarding Karina. It wasn't easy, but Winter was trying her best to navigate this confusing period. Minju's presence had brought a sense of comfort and nostalgia, but her feelings for Karina were still very strong. She couldn't deny that she still loved Karina, despite the recent strain in their relationship.

One evening, Minju and Winter were sitting in a cozy café, sipping on their drinks and reminiscing about their childhood adventures. Minju's laughter was infectious, and Winter found herself genuinely happy, at least for a while.

"Remember when we tried to build that treehouse and ended up covered in mud?" Minju said, chuckling.

Winter laughed, nodding. "How could I forget? My mom was so mad at us for ruining our clothes."

They both laughed, the memories of simpler times bringing a sense of peace.

As the evening progressed, Minju's presence became even more comforting. They decided to take a walk through the park, enjoying the cool evening air. The park was quiet, the soft glow of the streetlights casting long shadows.

"Minjeong," Minju began, her voice hesitant. "There's something I need to tell you."

Winter turned to her, curiosity and a bit of anxiety creeping in. "What is it?"

Minju took a deep breath, her eyes reflecting the soft light. "I need to be honest with you. I've had feelings for you for a long time, and seeing you again has only made them stronger."

Winter's heart skipped a beat, and she felt a mix of emotions swirling inside her. "Minju, I... I don't know what to say."

Minju squeezed her hand gently. "You don't have to say anything right now. I just needed to get it off my chest. I understand that things are complicated with Karina, but it's not my intention to take advantage of that. I just wanted you to know how I feel."

Winter nodded, her mind racing. "I see. Thank you for being honest, Minju."

They continued their walk in silence, the weight of Minju's confession hanging in the air. Winter's thoughts were a tangled mess. She cared deeply for Minju, but her feelings for Karina were still strong, despite everything.

When Winter got home, she found Karina waiting for her, a nervous look on her face. "How was your evening?" Karina asked, trying to sound casual.

"It was good," Winter replied, her mind still on Minju's confession. "We talked a lot."

Karina noticed the distant look in Winter's eyes and decided to take a step forward. "Minjeong, can we talk?"

Winter nodded, sensing the seriousness in Karina's voice. They sat down on the couch, and Karina took a deep breath. "I know things have been rough between us, and I've been feeling really crazy about what's happening between you and Minju. But I want you to know that I'm trying to change. I love you, and I don't want to lose you."

Winter's heart ached at Karina's words. She could see the genuine concern and fear in her eyes. "I love you too, Jimin. I don't want to lose you either."

Karina reached out and took Winter's hand. "I've been thinking a lot about us and how we can make things better. I want to be the person you deserve, Minjeong."

Winter squeezed Karina's hand. "We'll work through this together, Jimin."

The next few days were a mixture of trying to balance her time between Karina and Minju, and dealing with her own emotions. Winter found herself constantly torn between the comfort of the past with Minju and the deep love she felt for Karina. It was exhausting, but she knew she had to face it.
