Chapter 1: A new boxer emerges

Little Mac announced his retirement from boxing. He had lost three times to three different boxers and now had to retire. Now this kid was impressive. At only 17 years old he acquired the heavy weight champion of boxing after defeating Mr. Sandman in a close call fight. Of course he had to lose several times before he finally got it. He protected his title during the title defense and was named the greatest of all time. Now that he had left the ring there was a chance for a spot for a new championship title.

In a house in Los Angeles, 25 year old Brianna Catavelli sat on her couch watching the WVBA news. Brianna was born in New York City, NY. She moved to Los Angeles to compete in the women's boxing championship. This is her dream to fight and she is very good at it. She became the women's boxing champion a few years ago and she has defended that title to this day. Not only is Brianna an amazing fighter but she also has a heart of gold and she values sportsmanship to her opponents especially during one match where she brutally broke her opponent's nose sending her opponent to the hospital. Brianna visited her in the hospital and brought her flowers.

Brianna sat on her couch watching the news when her phone rang. "Hello?" She answered. "Hi is this Brianna Catavelli?" The voice asked. "Yes it is." She replied. It was the WVBA officials. They were calling to tell her that she would be moved to the men's boxing league. "No way, are you serious?" She asked shocked and excited. "Yes, we would like to move you to the men's boxing team, we saw how experienced you are in the women's league and we must say we are impressed with your strength, we also had heard a lot of women are terrified to fight you because of your intense strength."

"Wow, I've never had anyone afraid to fight me, so what will the men's team offer me?"
"Well, you will be paid more fighting with the men and you will be fighting with men around the world for the title of championship for the men's league and you will have more opportunities to sign with contractors to fight." Brianna felt as if she just won the lottery. This had been the chance she had been waiting for. She had become bored of fighting women and wanted a chance to prove her strength. "I gladly accept going into the men's league." She said excitedly. "Excellent, You will begin training for the men's minor circuit next week. We will have a trainer to help you train for the matches, he'll meet you at the practice ring next week." The officials hung up. Brianna jumped up and down for joy. She was ready to prove to the men that she could fight against them.
