Since Carmen was going to Eastern Washington, I couldn't go with her, unfortunately. But we both said bye and got each other's phone numbers so we could text and call.

I hopped on a bus and sat down next to the window seat to look out the window.

The trees were so green. And the soft drops of rain on the leaves increased the color.

The green leaves reminded me of Matt.

I hope that he's doing okay.

Just remembering his smile and his eyes. It's such a beautiful color of blue.

I don't wanna say it, but... I think I'm falling in love with Matt.. hard..

I mean, what is there not to love? He's funny, sweet, and very cute. He's strong and a good leader and role model.

I looked at my converse for some reason and saw a little scribble on the side.

It was Matt's handwriting. It said, 'I miss you' on it.

I instantly teared up and pulled my shoe off, bringing it closer for me to see. And on the end of it, it had a little heart.

I started to sob...

Does he really love me? Is this a sign, God?

The bus stopped, and I wiped my tears. I grabbed my bag and put my shoe back on and got off.

Here it was. My old town.

"Hi... I'm back..." I smiled at my town's greeting sign.

Matt's POV:

I was sitting down on my bed, watching Nick's new tik tok when I looked to the side and saw Y/n's sweater hanging on the door.

I hope she's doing okay.

I got up and went downstairs to see Chris on his computer, and Nick imported yesterday's video on his.

"I'm gonna go to the store, ok? Want anything?"

"Oh yeah, we need eggs and milk. Kinda basic, but yk." Nick said.

"OK. Be right back.''

I grabbed my coat and walked down to the garage in silence.

Why do I feel this way? Why do I have attraction to Y/N? I wish I had an answer.

Y/N's POV:

I walked down the block and saw all my old friends from kindergarten, who probably don't remember me. I walked past the old library, which has changed buildings, because it's now a Chase Bank.

I saw the steep hill, which I remember skating down with Carmen after school. My skateboard was black with a skull with a flower growing out of it, and hers was blue with a shark.

She loves sharks. I wonder if she still does.

Instantly, I remembered Matt was the team with Blue and Sharks.

I wish he was here with me, visiting the town I grew up in.

I walked for quite a while when I stopped and saw my parents' house.

"Well. Here I am. Hope they aren't surprised."
