Days passed, and the tension between them grew wider. Fourth prepared for his trip to Paris, while Gem was still very busy with his shooting and also making time for fourth.
One evening Fourth was packing his bags as his flight was later that evening, Gem approached him his eyes red from crying. "Fourth, please don't go. We can't stay away like this for a month"
Fot's expression softened, but his resolve remained firm "Please understand Gem, if it were you, you'd be doing the same thing as well"
Gem's eyes were filled with tears "No fot, our relationship is already having problems and if you go now how are we gonna resolve things?"
"Gem why can't you understand me even a little? Can you please be a little bit supportive for once?"
The tension between them grew stronger, their words hanging in the air
"I'm leaving" Fourth turned around to leave the house
"I might not be here when you get back" Gem's voice echoed through the hallway
Fourth's footstep echoed outside, then stopped. The door opened and he stepped back inside
"I'm not leaving you Gem, but this opportunity is not worth losing for, I want us to take this time to work on ourselves for the betterment of our relationship"
"Lets use this time to heal, grow and come back stronger, Gem"
With these words coming out of Fourth's mouth, Gemini broke out crying
Fot rushed to his side and embraced him tightly "We'll always be together Gem, always"
They stood there for a long time, holding each other with both of them sobbing. Fot spoke up "Gem I need to go, or else I will miss the flight"
Gemini nodded his face till buried in Fot's chest "Take care of yourself"
As much as Gemini didn't want fourth to leave he knew that there is no way he could stop fourth , he just didn't want to be apart from each other
They shared a soft, gentle kiss, the tension and doubt of the past few days melting away
"I love you Gem" Fot said holding Gem close to him
"I love you too Fot"
Their hearts still heavy with emotion, they reluctantly pulled away from each other. Fot's eyes lingered on Gem's tear-stained face, his expression soft with love and reassurance.
"I'll be back before you know it, Gem. And we'll work on us, together."
Gem nodded, a small smile on his lips. "I'll be here, waiting for you."
With one last glance, Fot turned and walked out the door, leaving Gem alone with his thoughts. But this time, the silence between them felt different - it was no longer filled with doubt and uncertainty, but with hope and promise.
As Gem watched Fot disappear into the distance, he felt a sense of peace wash over him. He knew that their love was strong enough to overcome any obstacle, and that they would emerge from this time apart even stronger and more in love.
With a newfound sense of determination, Gem turned back into the house, ready to face the days ahead with courage and hope. For he knew that Fourth would return, and that their love would flourish once again.
