CHAPTER 2

I smiled to myself, thinking about how proud I was of Gem, I decided to plan a surprise dinner for him at home with his favourite dish Pas Thai, and also some candles to set the mood. I quickly rushed home to prepare everything. After I was done with all the preparation I texted Gem "I'm already home, can't wait to see you"

As I waited for Gem to arrive, I couldn't help but feel grateful for our relationship, Six years had passed and our love had only grown stronger.

I heard the door open, and a smile creeped up my face. Gem walked in looking exhausted but he smiled as soon as he saw me.

"Fot kharb"(I'm sure y'all know the tone how gem calls fotfot😭) he said dropping his bag and walking towards me, "Congratulations, love" I said holding him tight "Thankyou, babe!" he replied, his eyes shining with happiness

"We sat down to a romantic dinner, and Gem told me all about his day, the script reading and his excitement about working with P'Jeff. I listened, feeling proud and grateful to be a part of his happiness.

After dinner, we cuddled up on the bed, feeling the love that we have for each other "I'm so proud of you Gem, and I'm so grateful to be your partner" Gem smiled and pulled me in for a sweet kiss, "I'm proud of you too and I promise to always be by your side fot" he replied

I looked into Gem's eyes and I saw the same Love and Adoration I had for him, his eyes were conveying all the emotions that could not be spoken in words, "I love you, Gem", I whispered, my voice filled with emotion, "I love you too, Fot" he replied his voice soft and gentle.

We lay there in silence and closed our eyes trying to take in all the emotions that we were feeling.

As we lay there, I could feel Gem's body relaxing, his breath started slowing down and his eyes were closed, "GoodNight Gem" I said lening for a peck, he just nodded his head and pulled me closer to him, I knew he was exhausted and I didn't want to keep him awake

As I held Gem close , my mind began to think as to how my life would be if I hadn't met Mark and Gem, they were the only family that I had.

When I was just 12 years old, I lost both my parents to an accident and I didn't have anyone to look after me, I did all the work I could that paid me. I remember struggling to make ends meet, I used to cry myself to sleep feeling lonely and having to face this world all by myself at such a young age.

I remembered the moment when Mark took me in with him as I was working at a restaurant that didn't pay well, Mark has been my Brother, my dad, my guardian, my bestie and most importantly my Family.

I looked down at Gem, his face peaceful in sleep, and I felt so grateful for him, I just know that without Mark and Gemini I wouldn't be where I am today and would not be living this comfortable life.

After entering the fashion industry I made many good connections with people both from the Fashion and Acting industry, Gemini's friends all love me and they always pamper me, I love them equally as much as they love me but Mark and Gem will always hold a special place in my life.

And with that I drifted off to sleep feeling grateful for this life and thanking God for bringing Mark and Gem into my life.

Hi y'all collage starts soon and I wanna get done with this ff before clg starts as I wanna focus more on my academics, I think the story I gonna be more fast paced than I thought!!
