4 Years of raising a daughter has changed Ace.
He was very mature for his age.
He was 14 and Estella was almost 4.
Estella is just like her father when he was very young.
Estella is just as confused though.
She thinks Vi is her mother.
An imaginative child.
The bar today was loud and chatty today. People playing pool and drinking as usual. Ace was sitting at the bar with little Estella sitting at the table.
Ace poked and tickled her stomach as Estella giggled and laughed.
"Daddy!" Estella said as kept giggling. Ace smiled followed by a soft Chuckle leaving his mouth.
Ace stopped tickling Estella as his forehead rested on hers and Estella leaned her forehead on his.
"You think the others are taking a while to get back?" Ace asked as he took his forehead of Estella's.
"Eh not sure. Probably soon they wouldn't cause much trouble" Vander said as he poured drinks.
"They don't take this long. I don't think they'd take a long time to go out" Ace said.
Ace looked back at Estella and pushed some of her hair back. Her hair was getting pretty long. Maybe she needed a haircut soon. Her first one.
"Did you hear? A big explosion happened on the topside! They think Four kids down here did it!" A man was trying to be quiet and whisper this rumor to someone else.
This caused Ace's head to turn and so did Vanders.
"What explosion?" Vander asked as Ace listened in as well. The man looked at them both.
"Oh...There was an apartment that exploded on the top side across the river. They think Four kids down here did it. Four kids were running from the scene" The man explained.
This made Ace's eyes widened. He knew exactly who it was. Ace heard a small yawn coming from Estella.
Estella rubbed her eyes as she was slowly getting sleepy. Ace picked her up and softly rocked her.
As her eyes started to fall asleep Ace took her back to the room he shared with his siblings. He placed her on his bed to sleep.
He and Estella slept together ever since she grew out of her crib.
Estella fell asleep and Ace placed a blanket on top of her. He took one last look at her before walking out.
"I'm going to get them. Bring them home safely before anything else happens" Ace tells Vander.
Vander nodded "Stay safe yourself" Vander said and Ace nodded before he walked out of the bar.
Ace started walking down the streets of the Undercity. Earning a few waves from people as he smiled and waved back.
he got to the elevator that takes you up to the south side of the Undercity. Once he got up he stepped out of the elevator.
He began walking around. This time he didn't have his sword. But it's fine because he knew how to use his hands very well.
He started walking until he heard talking from the distance.
"But now you're, you're tracking this mess of yours through my streets." Ace heard from a distance. A voice of another guy.
He tilted his head to the side slightly as he got closer.
"Your streets?" He heard the voice of Vi and started to get closer.
