Paimon's mind seemed to be blank as all he could think about was the party. The dancing, the drinking... Her. Oh god, Her! The lovely demoness wouldn't escape his thoughts anytime soon.
"PAIMON!" The queen hissed, snapping her talons before his face.
He awoke from 'dreamland' and blinked a few times before looking to his woman. "What.. I already ate, haven't I?" He snapped before staring down at his untouched plate. Oh.
He'd think to himself. Was he hungry? Perhaps... A few bites, he would take, before excusing himself from the table and walking through his dead-silent halls. The empty halls of an empty hearted king.

He sighed, looking at Stolas through a darkened window who was seated underneath their crimson tree right in the garden. The only tree they had, however meaning so much to the young Prince.
He smiled before his gaze shifted and he continued on his way, dropping down onto bed once he had arrived at the bedroom.
"Rosalind..." He started, "If only I got the chance to see you another time.. Your soft, trusting eyes... Your smooth voice.. What I'd give." Paimon sighed again and rolled onto his side with a humiliating sniffle escaping his beak. A sad king... Pathetic.

Though this would soon change when he awoke after a slumber, and he went out with his butler to a meeting. To find Stolas a suitor as soon, he would marry.
Marriages were very important in the Goetia family just as heirs were.
Now, at this meeting he was introduced to several ladies from aristocratic near and far. And also, Rosalind.. There she was.
Though, as she was introduced to be Stolas's suitor, the king was furious.
"Why would you introduce such a beautiful woman to me that is to be Stolas's mate? He is not worthy of her, not one bit. You'd be better off with me, my lady..." He smiled softly and pushed the demoness's company away whom introduced her.

She smiled and looked away as these words touched her heart. "Well... I was hoping we'd meet again, my king. And I was thinking-", whereto the king chirped in and interrupted "Darling... As much as I'd love to make you my queen, I can't just divorce! My status would be on the line!"
Rosalind's ember red eyes seemed to glaze over, saddened by this harsh truth. And she looked away yet again, "I see. You do not wish to have me as I thought you would." At the brink of wandering off; she was pulled back by her wrist and held close to the king's body.
"Where do you think you are going... I never said I couldn't think of anything else for us." He smirked and pulled her up against him.
