**About us**

Aadi, a photographer from Himachal Pradesh, and Prena, a writer and photographer from Kerala, meet on Instagram. Their shared love for capturing and expressing the beauty of their surroundings brings them closer, transcending the geographical distance between them. As their bond deepens, they fall in love and decide to meet in person. Their time together in Kerala is magical, but life's commitments soon start to pull them apart. Prena receives an irresistible job offer, while Aadi's photography career demands extensive travel. The strain of maintaining a long-distance relationship takes its toll, and they decide to part ways, each following their own dreams. Despite moving on, their love story remains a poignant, bittersweet memory, immortalized in Aadi's poetry that captures the essence of their fleeting yet profound connection.

**How we met**

Aadi and Prena's story began through a group chat in Instagram, a platform that seemed perfect for fleeting interactions but sometimes held the promise of something deeper. Aadi, a photographer from the serene landscapes of Himachal Pradesh, shared stunning pictures of the mountains, the mist, and the quiet beauty of his hometown. Prena, a writer and photographer from Kerala, was captivated by his work. She often commented on his posts, and over time, their interactions grew more frequent and personal.

They began chatting regularly, sharing their daily lives, dreams, and aspirations. Aadi would send Prena pictures of snow-capped peaks, and in return, Prena would share the lush greenery and backwaters of Kerala through her poetic words and beautiful photographs. Their bond grew stronger, transcending the geographical distance between them. It wasn't long before they realized they had fallen in love.

Despite the distance, they decided to meet. Aadi booked a flight to Kerala, excited to finally see Prena in person. The meeting was everything they had hoped for and more. They spent days exploring Kerala together, sharing laughter and creating memories. Their connection deepened, and they promised to make their relationship work despite the miles between them.

However, as time went on, the distance began to take its toll. The infrequent meetings and the longing to be together became harder to bear. They tried to stay positive, planning visits and dreaming of a future where they could be together, but life had other plans.

Prena received a job offer that she couldn’t refuse. It was an opportunity to work with a renowned publishing house in Kerala, a dream come true for her writing career. Aadi, on the other hand, was offered a prestigious photography assignment that required extensive travel. They struggled to find time for each other amidst their growing commitments. The daily calls turned into weekly check-ins, and the excitement of their conversations began to fade into routine updates.

One evening, after a particularly exhausting day, Aadi received a call from Prena. Her voice was shaky, filled with sorrow. "Aadi, I don't know how to say this, but I don't think we can keep doing this. The distance, the uncertainties...it's tearing me apart."

Aadi felt a sharp pain in his chest. He had feared this moment but hearing it from her broke his heart. "Prena, please, we can make it work. We've come so far."

"I know, Aadi. But I can't keep waiting for a future that seems so uncertain. I need to focus on my career here, and you need to follow your dreams. Maybe...maybe this is for the best."

Tears streamed down Aadi's face as he realized the truth in her words. They had been fighting a losing battle against circumstances beyond their control. With a heavy heart, they said their goodbyes, promising to cherish the memories they had made.

Years passed, and Aadi continued his journey as a photographer, capturing the beauty of the world. Prena devoted herself to her writing and photography, achieving great success. They both moved on, but the memory of their love remained, a bittersweet reminder of what could have been.

Sometimes, Aadi would look at his photographs and remember the girl from Kerala who had stolen his heart. And Prena, in her quiet moments, would think of the boy from Himachal who had made her believe in love. They never met again, but their love story, though short-lived, remained etched in their hearts forever.

In one of his quiet moments, reflecting on their bittersweet journey, Aadi penned down a poetry that encapsulated his feelings for Prena:

"Dooriyon mein bhi mohabbat ka ehsaas hai,
Dil se dil ka milna hi toh pyaar ka raaz hai.
Khushboo banke hawaon mein tum yun hi basna,
Door rehkar bhi, paas hone ka andaaz hai."

---

"फ़ासले भी मोहब्बत को आज़माते हैं,
दिल से दिल के रिश्ते यूँ ही नहीं बनते हैं।
दूरी भी अगर हो, कोई गम नहीं,
सच्चा प्यार तो हर हाल में पास रहता है।"

This poetry became one of his most cherished pieces, a testament to a love that, though separated by distance and fate, remained eternally beautiful in his heart.
