Rain's POV:

Exhausted, I open my eyes to see on my alarm clock, 3:00 am. Only 3 am! How dare it interrupt me in that amazing dream. Avery was JUST about to lean in and kiss me. With her beautiful green eyes and brown hair. She's just so dreamy. Wish she was mine. Well, I shall go back to sleep now. "Hiya, Rain," she says, her voice echoing in my ears. "I love you," she says, smiling hovering above me. "Me too," I say gruffly. "But I don't like mean boys," she says, angrily. "Don't worry" I reassure her "I'm not mean at all >U<" She sits down next to me and I hold onto her arm and look at the sky. "Hello, world," I say softly as she lays her warm head on my shoulder. BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP. Oh no! I must've overslept!

I sit up in bed and take a breather, that dream was amazing! I pull on my uniform and tighten my tie. I ruffle up my hair and put eyedrops in my crystal blue eyes before heading to school, an apple in one hand and my rucksack in the other. On my way to school, I accidentally run into Savannah. As usual, she leans over and whispers in my ear, "You can be mine anytime." I roll my eyes, and fixate on looking for the green eyed goddess known as Avery. S . I fist bump Charlie, keeping my focus on the field, looking for Little Miss green eyes. 

Avery's POV:

Oh, I wish I could see Rain today but I've got a nasty cold. *Sneezes*  Perhaps, I could get his phone number of Natasha! Yes, I share Natasha with Rain. Natasha is my BFF and Natasha is also Rain's BFF. I've told her my feelings for Rain and she swore never to tell. However, I rarely see him or spend time with him, it's always the most joyous moments when I'm with him. One night, we even went stargazing - Natasha was between us of course, but I would've loved to snuggle up close with him for the entire night. Who would've known what he would've thought! He would probably smack me and quit being friends with me AND Natasha would probably quit being friends with me TOO! I would never want that to happen.

I enter in the passcode to my phone and open my contacts.

- Rex

- Dad

- Simon

- Fifi

- Alice (New Text Message)

A new message from Alice, she's my online bestie and she's been offline for a couple of months! This is serious, I press on "Alice (1 New Text Message" to see a video of her saying sorry with her boyfriend, Tristan. Tristan is another online friend but we're not best friends. He's sorta attractive but not as great as Rain in anyway (I'm not checking out Tristan by the way) I react to the video with a heart emoji, then I scroll down my contacts and finally find "Natasha (4 New Text Messages)" The text messages follow as:

- Good morning, Avery :-)

- Are you okay, I'm really worried about you

- This is mind - blowing, Rain is... sad! 

- He must miss you!

I sigh enormously, hopeful and full of relief. Rain really cares about me! I reply:

 -I have a sneeze and cough, 

- Can I have Rain's number, I just need to reassure him that I'm good!

5 seconds later : PING PING PING

- Hope you get better soon!

- One second, I need to find his number 

- Found it! It's -----------------------------

I smile and then reply with:

-Ok thanks! >w<

I email him:

- Hi, I'm doing good, I just have an unusual temperature, I'll be in tomorrow with a full smile!

- Don't Worry!

I put away my phone and rest for the afternoon.

Rain's POV:

BEEP BEEP. Huh, what's that sound? I subconsciously pick up my phone and click my inbox to find a message from unknown, it reads as : Hi, I'm doing good, I just have an unusual temperature, I'll be in tomorrow with a full smile! and Don't Worry! and finally From Avery. *Squeals loudly* All eyes turn on me, piercing my soul. Oops! I shove my phone in my pocket hoping that no snitch or teacher had seen me doing so. I can't believe Avery messaged me! How did she get my number and how did she know I was worried?! She's just plain amazing!

I text her back:

Oh, ok!

What do you mean hehe, I wasn't worried about you...

I quickly delete my last message and change it too:

How did you know I was worried? :)

Hope you get better soon!!

I smile at the last message, then crawl into my bed and read my favourite book on my kindle.
