Episode 1: Who Was That?

there was silence in the dorm, everyone stared at the rock with a note attached. no one dared to move, no one wanted to move. the air was dense and no one even breathed in that moment. Ellis was the brave one and went forward and grabbed the rock and took off the note attached to it and gently placed the rock on Clawdeen's bed. he opened the note and read

Ellis: " Dear Clawdeen Wolf: your family tricked us, and I will make sure you will pay." that's all it said, the person didn't write their name down...

the silence continued. Draculaura and Deuce both looked at each other, then at Clawdeen who didn't know who wrote the note, but did she want to know? this person could be dangerous, but she faced danger and brushed with death over 3 times already... so why was she scared this time? finally, after 3 minutes of the silence, Frankie grabbed the note from Ellis and began reading through it again, looking for code words, hidden messages but found nothing.

Frankie: Ellis is right, there's no hidden messages.

Holt: are we sure this isn't a prank?

Draculaura: I'll kill whoever did this, prank or not. not only do we need a new window, but somebody threatened Clawdeen! Clawdeen, what do you want to do? 

Deuce: yeah, we can talk to Headmistress Bloodgood, or we could bribe Toralei to go outside and look for us-

Clawdeen: who wants some cake?

Draculaura: wait.. what?

Clawdeen: lets not ruin Frankie's birthday because of this, it's no big deal.

Frankie: what?

Draculaura: it is a big deal Clawdeen! somebody threatened you!

Clawdeen: it could just be a cruel prank. besides, we're inside and we're safe. lets not go on another adventure just yet. Frankie, cake or presents?

Frankie: uh... cake, I guess...

Clawdeen: alright, cut the cake then.

everyone didn't know why Clawdeen was calm, no one should have been calm then. but they knew that Clawdeen just didn't want them to panic, so they swallowed their pride and went on with Frankie's birthday party, hoping that this was just a prank gone too far.

it was about bedtime for the ghouls. Ellis had gone home earlier while everyone else went to their dorms, needing some rest after everything that happened that day. Clawdeen was finishing taking down the streamers and looked at Frankie's bed to see them asleep while hugging a balloon, since they loved balloons. Draculaura was putting some face cream on to help with her pores, and with some blackheads she found. she noticed Clawdeen's hand twitching, and she knew Clawdeen very well, her hand only twitches when she's worried about something. Draculaura also noted that Clawdeen had the note in her hand and was holding it tightly. Draculaura put her face cream back in her drawer, then stood up and approached Clawdeen who had just threw the last of the streamers away. Draculaura gently placed her hand on Clawdeen's shoulder, Clawdeen jumped a bit but calmed down, seeing it was just her best friend.

Clawdeen: Oh, Draculaura! it's just... it's just you.

Draculaura: yeah, it's just me. are you okay? you seem kinda jumpy.

Clawdeen: I'm fine! why wouldn't I be?

Draculaura: maybe it's because you're still holding onto that note, or that you acted like this during Frankie's party or because you jumped when I touched you.

Clawdeen pushed Draculaura's hand off.

Clawdeen: come on, D. I'm fine, trust me.

Draculaura: of course I trust you, you just have a history of lying.
