I couldn't hold it any longer. I cried in his arms.
"It's okay. Just let it out." He whispered.
"T-the k-kids. Where where are they?" I choked out.
"Don't worry. They both fell asleep again." He said softly, rubbing my back.
He lifted my head and held it in his hands.
"It's alright, babe. What are you so worried about?"
"Harry I-" I started, not being able to continue.
I didn't want to say it. But I had to.
"I think yesterday was a mistake."
The look in his eyes told me he was hurt.
"What do you mean? What about everything we said?"
"What I said was true, Harry. But I-I just. We can't be together."
"I know you're lying, Y/N. I see it in your face. You want this as much as I do."
"Of course I want it, Harry. But there are things that can't be sometimes and you have to do what you need to do, not what you want."
"Fine. I respect your decision."
"Let's have breakfast?"
"Sure. I'll go get the kids."
My phone buzzed. It was Ed. He wanted to have a jam session. I replied that I didn't mind and I would go over after lunch.
"Harry, I'm going to Ed's later for a jam session. Wanna come?"
"Um, are the boys invited too?"
"I suppose."
"Oh, alright then. We're going to Uncle Ed's today!"
"Yayyy!" Our kids exclaimed.
"And Uncle Zayn, Louis, Liam and Niall will be there!" I continued.
"Yay! We're seeing all of our uncles!" James said happily.
I nodded and fixed his hair.
"So eat up because we will be singing a lot!" Harry said.
I loved how he made a plain activity fun for the kids. He was an amazing father.
