"What did Missouri want?"

"Nothing."

Dean, Juliet and Sam, along with Harlow, are currently in an auto repair shop called 'Gunther's Auto Repair.' The three hunter's are standing by a car that's in the shop waiting to be fixed as they talk to the owner of the body shop, Gunther, while Harlow looks around at all the cars in the garage that are waiting to be fixed, she finds herself thinking that no one of them are as cool as her dad's.

They had tracked Gunther down through John's journal, the said diary having mentioned him as one of John's friends that wasn't a hunter but his work partner.

(Juliet couldn't believe it either. The John Winchester had, had a normal 9-5 job. She just couldn't picture it.)

The three are posing as FBI agents. Dean and Juliet had use the 'no babysitter' excuse to explain why Harlow was with them.

Dean eyes Gunther with a raised eyebrow, "So you and John Winchester, you used to own this garage together?"

Gunther nods his head before verbally answering Dean's question, "Yeah, we used to, a long time ago. Matter of fact, it must be, uh...twenty years since John disappeared." He eyes the three hunters in curiosity, "So why the cops interested all of a sudden?"

Juliet shares a meaningful look with both of the Winchester brother's before deciding to answer for them, "Oh, we're re-opening some of our unsolved cases, and the Winchester disappearance is one of 'em." She gives the owner of the auto repair shop a practiced false smile, one that she has given many of people.

Gunther nods his head, a small yet sad smile on his face.

"Oh, well, what do you wanna know about John?"

Dean gives him a professional smile, "Well, whatever you remember, you know, whatever sticks out in your mind."

Gunther pauses as he contemplates Dean's words before answering, "Well...he was a stubborn bastard, I remember that." He laughs, "And, uh, whatever the game, he hated to lose, you know? It's that whole marine thing." He watches as the three hunter's nod before continuing, "But, oh, he sure loved Mary and those kids."

Juliet raises an eyebrow at that, that version of John was in the past. This newer version of her Godfather couldn't give a rats ass about either of his sons, or at least that's how he comes across. She shakes her head, getting rid of her thoughts before looking up at Gunther as a question crosses her mind, "What about Joseph Sullivan? Did you know him, at all?"
