It was the day before Valentine's Day and Zac is going to take Fatima on a Impromptu trip for Valentine's Day without the kids. Right now they are dropping the kids off at Mimi house and the kids weren't happy about it. It was after school so they didn't get to spend much of their day with them.

I just got done helping my wife pack the kids suitcases because we won't be back until Sunday and it's Thursday. I packed them into the truck and came back and helped my wife put her things in the truck. I didn't tell her where we were going. I just packed her bag and told her we were leaving today.
"Daddy you can't leave." Melody said clinging to my leg.
"Princess, Daddy is coming back Sunday." I told her and I seen her eyes water.
"Why can't we come? We always go with you." Melody said as the tears started to fall. I gently wiped them.
"Because Mommy and Daddy had to spend time together without kids." I tried to explain to her.
"But why? Are we not good? Daddy you can't leave." Melody said and I got to her leave.
"Melody Note Taylor, Daddy and Mommy will be back. You are going to be with Mimi and Poppi." I told her as I wiped the tears that keep falling.
"But... you can't leave us. We wanna go." Melody said as she hiccuped from crying.
"Baby girl calm down. It's okay." I said trying to comfort her but she was getting worked up. I picked her up and hugged her.
"Baby girl you have you calm down mommy and daddy are conning back Sunday." I said rubbing her back as she cried. My wife walked in the room and Melody started crying harder.
"What's wrong Mel?" My wife asked her.
"You and daddy are leaving us." She said in between her tears.
"Baby girl you gone be with Poppi and we will bring you something back." My wife said trying to calm her down and negotiate with her.
"You pwomise?" She said as she wipe her tears.
"Yes I promise." My wife said to her.
"Can mommy have a kiss?" She asked her and she kissed her.
"Mommy I'm ready to see Poppi." Melody said looking at her.
"You was just crying over me and Mommy and now you want Poppi?" I said looking at her.
I shook my head and we gathered all the kids and we dropped them off at Mimi and Pops house. I order us an Uber Black and we waited at Mimi's house for it. Me and my wife soaked up all the time with the kids before I got a notification on my phone that our Uber was approaching the gate. I let them through the gate. We kissed the kids goodbye and gathered our luggages. I helped my wife in the truck and put our luggage in the trunk. I got in and we were off to the airport.
