It's been a day or so since Zac and Fatima came back from New York. It was a Sunday so it was a reset day for the family. That means new hairstyles, laundry, room cleaning, hair cuts and wash days. It also means work reviews for the week and their hobby calendars.

The Taylor's had a lot to accomplish.

We had just got done watching church and it was going on 11 am. I fixed the kids breakfast before church so they were okay. While church was going on Bluez shocked us all when he came up with the idea of him wanting his hair cut. Knowing they get their hair cut every third Sunday out the month. I was a little sad but he was adamant about it.

"Bluez are you sure you want to cut your hair? It's so long." I said as I put his hair into plaits.

"Yes, mommy. I want my hair cut I want my hair to look like Uncle Kingston." He said to me. I was very sad because my brother had hair on his head but it was short and curly.

"Okay Daddy is going to take you boys to the barber shop so y'all can get y'all line ups." I told them. They all got up and went to put their shoes on.

"Mommy what about me?" Melody asked me. I know she be feeling left out being the only girl.

"Well Mel Mel, you are the first to get your hair washed and styled. So what style we picking?" I asked her. She took a second to answer.

"Mommy I want the Pop Smoke braids with some beads at the end." She answered me.

"Girl what you know about pop smoke?" I asked her. She just up and started dancing like her dad. I started laughing. I was laughing so hard I started coughing and was red in the face.

"Okay Mel, we can do those braids but first we have to wash that hair." I told her. She handed this part.

I washed her hair quick because it wasn't really dirty. I blow dried her hair and gave it a rest while I put a load of laundry in the washer. I swear I see more boxers than an average mom. I put the detergent in and leave out the room.

I hear Musiq crying and I walk into the living room and Melody was right there putting his paci in his mouth.

"It's okay Musiq, Melly right here." She said as she calms him down. I was in awe looking at my babies. I stayed like there until Musiq had quieted down some.
