This is a story about two best friends...Who Secretly Loved each other ...And Wanted So much more than...just friendship..
One day at preschool, a boy named Natsu Dragneel was very curious about this girl, because It was Natsus first day at preschool. Natsu was pulling on the teacher's sleeve, and asked while pointing at the girl "uhh, miss...Who is that girl? She's kinda cute." Said Natsu, the teacher responds "haha, im not actually sure, why don't you go introduce yourself to her?"
So as Natsu walked towards the cute little girl, he introduced himself by saying "hi! I'm Natsu" while waving at the girl, and Lucy responds "Oh, hi! I'm Lucy, nice to meet you" while waving back, they both smiled...And from that day on, they became best of friends..
14 YEARS LATER
...They are still the best of friends, and see each other often. They would tell each other anything and confide their deepest secrets...Except for that one Secret they kept buried deep inside. Both were to shy to reveal their true feelings for each other.
They wound sit at the park together for hours, talking anything and everything. The boy would always make funny jokes that would make her laugh, he would also talk about his passion for food that would make her laugh a lot. While Lucy would talk about her dreams and waiting for her big day...the day that she would get married, she would always say to the boy.."Hey, one day you can come to my wedding, you can sit at the very first row." And every time Natsu heard those words...he would stop and think to himself " i don't want to be the guy sitting in the first row...I want to be the guy waiting for you at the end of the aisle.. The guy who would take your hand in marriage"
Little did the guy know. That same exact time he would be thinking theses thoughts.. Lucy would be thinking.. "Please. Please tell me that you want to be the guy waiting for me walking down the aisle.. And day those 3 words..that would mean the world to me..but of course he doesn't love me.."
A COUPLE DAYS LATER
Today's the day Natsu will finally confess his feelings towards Lucy. So he bought flowers at the corner shop, And as he turned the corner to go back to his car...He saw...Nothing but pain..
He saw Lucy Holding hands with another guy, and he quickly rushed back home, hoping Lucy wouldn't notice him. Words could not explain how much pain he was feeling. The next morning.. *RING*. Natsu picks up the phone "Hello?" Said Natsu "Hey...It's me" said Lucy.
Natsu : Hey..what's up..
Lucy : I need a shoulder to cry on.. Can you come meet me at the park?
Natsu : Sure.. I'll be there soon.
Natsu got up and dressed quickly and rushed to the park. When Natsu got there, Lucy was already sitting on the bench, with tears rolling down her face. Natsu slowly walked towards Lucy, and wiped her tears away as she began to speak. "I was searching for that one guy that would hold me close, and never let me go, then I realized everything Ive been searching for, was always right there in front of me."
"There's something I've been meaning to tell you" said Natsu. "I have somethingto tell you also" said Lucy, And at the same time...they both said..."I Love you". They both smiled and before Lucy could say anything, Natsu pushed his lips against Lucy's lips, it was a very passionate kiss, that carried a lot of love. They both sat down, until the sun went down. Natsu walked Lucy home and kissed her goodnight...And on that day forward. They were not friends.. But something more than just friends.. Just like they always wanted for the longest time....
