Burnet and the boy were standing in the middle,while his team played with one another and checked on Misdreavus every often.
Burnet:"So that's it? Your just leaving?"
The boy sighed and took his bag from her,shuffling everything inside.
"There's nothing for me here now,by the way..."
He leaned down her her face and growled.
"Do you know anything about something called...Cosmog?"
Burnet took a deep breath and crossed her arms,confident.
Burnet:"No,nothing of the sort."

...
"Whatever..."

The boy stood and readied his bag,sucking his team into their balls before carrying Lucario bridal style.
Just because she was part of his team now didn't mean he wasn't going to force her into a ball if she wasn't ready.
He looked back at Burnet and tilted his head.
"Is there a reason Misdreavus hasn't evolved? Ribombee and Lurantis already have,yet she's still small."
Burnet looked up at him and smiled.
Burnet:"Well,some Pokémon are different from others,whether it be evolving at night,during the day....I'm actually curious,your Lurantis evolved at NIGHT,they've only been known to evolve in the day."

She chuckled and sighed.
Burnet:"In any case,Misdreavus need a special stone called a Dusk Stone to evolve."
The boy looked through his bag and dumped everything out,everything that you could find in this region fell out,from Revives,to a Fishing Rod,even a weird tiki thing.

The boy smiled and picked it up,the darkness inside was mesmerizing to him...
He opened his mouth and popped it in.
Burnet could never help but be impressed at how durable his teeth were.

The boy lifted a hand and tensed it until it turned a purple hue.
Then with a bright flash,another Dusk Stone!
Burnet shook her head and took it from him.
Burnet:"Seems like you only made one,I'm actually surprised,I throught-!"
She was caught off guard when he dumped a pile of Beastballs,Mirrors,and even cameras.
"You thought what?"
She gulped and kneeled down,all of it was real,the Beastballs worked when she pressed the button.
And the cameras were fully functional.
Burnet:"How...HOW!? There was ever only one Reveal Glass,it's not possible for there to be multiple!"

The boy shrugged and turned around,picking Lucario up again,and using Gravity to put everything back in his bag.
"Goodbye Burnet,while we may be acquaintances,that doesn't mean I'll replace your veins with jelly."
Burnet giggled,unafraid.
Burnet:"Oh trust me,i KNOW you won't."
She smiled reassuringly,patting his chest and walking past him,planning to clean this mess and find Lusamine.

Lucario looked up at him and mimicked Burnet's actions,patting the bare skin on his chest.
She shivered as his muscles twitched in response,thinking that she did something wrong.
The boy looked down and saw her lip quivering,she was on the brink of crying.
He snorted and pat her head trying to make her feel better.
In response she flinched her arms up,snapping his arm in half unintentionally.
She covered her mouth and waved her arms,full on shaking now.
The boy frowned and pat her with his other arm.
This time she didn't flinch,just bracing herself for punishment.
But he just kept patting...and patting...and patting.
She looked up in worry and saw his lips curve upward.
...
She felt a pang in her chest,making her back up a bit.

She couldn't remember how long it had been since anyone looked at her with a genuine smile.
The feeling was bitter since she didn't trust it at all,for good reason at least...
The boy crouched down and looked at her face,seeing the mix of feelings covering them.
She sneaked peeks at him before his hand found itself back on her head,making her ears flop to the side.
She whined in surprise because this hand was attached to the arm she accidentally broke.
The boy noticed her reaction and brought his other hand to her
"Go ahead,punch."

Lucario froze at the request,she couldn't...she wouldn't...
She wasn't allowed to disobey,ever...
Yet...something told her to do it,but in the end...she didn't.
The boy frowned again and sighed,ripping one of his fingers off,catching her off guard.
It was her first time seeing gore,even if it was just a finger.
She gagged and covered her mouth.
After a few seconds the boy's nub steamed and regrew better than before.
Her eyes sparkled as it moved and cracked,she's never seen anything like it...
"See? I'll be ok,you don't need to worry."
She was still unsure,yet the voice told her to just do it...
"Do iT!"
