The Water Hashira

Final Selection

Sabito pov: Me and Tomioka are very close well for me I want to date her and her my bride some day but for now we're friends, and we'll be the greatest demon slayer swordsmen in history. We then hurried into the final selection waiting for more to enter in. Looked around seeing more kids come in and some even had dead eyes like Tomioka, not to be rude in a way but yeah. Then a man came a signaled us to enter as we all dashed in there running and beheading all the filthy demons. I am now faster than Tomioka which is good since I can protect her now from these scumbags. One day was completed and I beheaded 7 demons as Tomioka beheaded 4.

The next night I made an improvement on killing 12 demons as Tomioka killed 9. So far we're doing good, as the next few nights I killed half of the demons so far in there along with Tomioka. The last night I killed 12 more and tomioka killed 7 but the 8th one injured her eye as blood dripped out from the wound. I was on the tree coming at her as I came and beheaded that freak of a bastared. She was still standing but losing conscious due to blood lost on her left eye.

Then I heard a scream of help so I left her in care with someone else saying I'll be back. She did want me to go but I had to save that other person. So I ran and drew my sword out coming at a fast rate of speed as I saw the demon that was uglier than ever. Then I charged at me, but I managed to cut every arm trying to grab a hold of me then I jumped into the air aiming at the neck until.
....................My sword it broke. It snapped in half.... but I wasn't breathing correctly for it to cut through.... Oh no..........Tomioka was there off to the side as she watched as my sword broke in half. The others did the same and wished me a good life in the afterlife. The demons hand was ready to crush my head as I looked at Giyuu for the very last time.

Giyuu pov: I was attacked and my left eye wasn't working anymore due to the demon which made me lose my sight. It came charging at me I couldn't do anything in that moment not until Sabito came to save me. He beheaded it fast and came to me for any other injury. I couldn't stand anymore due to lost of blood from a fatal attack and we both heard a scream of agony. He handed me else in someone's care named Murata another child for final selection.

Sabito ran to help the person as I said to Murata that we should follow him in help. He looked at another child and nodded yes and they helped me walk there where Sabito had went to. After we made it I was horrified that sabito dodged the demons attacks but couldn't cut off its head. His sword snapped in half in mid air. He looked at me and smiled as I watched in horror. And he spoke his final words saying.

Sabito- I love you giyuu.

Giyuu pov: Then his head was crushed leaving his mask laying on the ground covered in a pool of his very own blood. That's when I lost consciousness. Then next thing I new was I was in a room with two people insisting my care and telling me about the news of Sabito. Hearing about his death left me speechless, and sad. They left me for the process for me to take everything in and my reaction was screaming in pain for the person I cared most and to his confession of his love for me. I broke down in tears just hearing him say those words and smiling for the last time.

I couldn't save him. Its all your fault giyuu for being so weak. Even if he hadn't been there for you....you too would've died. All I felt was dispear and more sadness I could ever felt in a long, long time. That day I kept crying and through the week as I returned to Urokodaki in the small house. His reaction too was sad but told me to keep on going to our goals we wanted since then. Time has passed since I left him and now I'm 19 about to be promoted title of the newest Water Hashira. My crow was guiding me to my masters house far from my estate that is being built just now as I walk pass by. It's quite big but I don't mind .

I wonder if any of the other hashiras will judge me more because of my looks and facial expressions. Nothing but a blank face of mine can be hated by mostly anyone. My crow is very old as it still works on giving me locations but will sometimes mistaken other things for something else. He then shows me to take a left turn and there will be the head quarters of the demon slayer core. Im anxious of how they'll judge me when I walk in. I went in but no one was there besides a man named Kagaya Ubayashiki head of the demon slayer corps.  He seemed to be poisoned due to his skin changing color from peach skin to purple. He looks up and smiles telling me to sit in front of him and congratulating me for this high ranking.

Kagaya- Giyuu I am proud you have reached this far for you and your friend. He must be very proud of how you've come this far and promoted to be a hashira.
Giyuu- I am glad as well to hear you say so master.
Kagaya- Also there will be a meeting tonight at 6 p.m. with the other members who will be attending. So you won't be the only one my child.
