It was to be done after sundown, an hour after the party would start, so they would be cloaked by darkness. In all there were a total of four people playing nobles, and two uniquely crested carts. Two people were to go for the Higg'n ring, one to steal it and one to stand watch, and the other two were to make sure a back doorway was clear. Then there were the musicians, eight total, completely removing and replacing the original band. They were the distraction. They were to start a fight when the ring is secured, so that all attention would be placed on them and the people with the treasure could head out the back way. For starting a fight, the band will be released, a new band made up of normal musicians brought in later on. They were to go around to the left most side and recuperate. On the outside of the manor, a few of the Ring dressed as pedestrians would avert any unwanted attention to the escapees should it arise, and point people in the wrong direction. Finally, the two carriages that brought the nobles would work as escape vehicles, donning a blank tarp over them to disguise them from being recognized.
On the side, each group was to try to grab some valuable objects or jewelry of their own, to add to the pile. It was not required, but those who would do it would be praised, and as extra incentive, they would be allowed to keep one item themselves. They would be making so much with just the ring alone. Everything else would be extra.
Each member also had the ability to whisper in each other's heads for communication.
