"Sooo.."
You and Leeknow made it to a store with many unique and beautiful dresses and decide on what to wear. "This one doesn't look bad." You point at the dress getting Leeknows attention. "mm.." He disapproves it somewhat just because it's very short from the bottom even with a slit opening from one side, but he loves the burgundy wine color on the gown just because it matches your features. "Maybe something else with the same color?" He suggests. "Mm okay!" You walk around while he sits down inside but in-front of the store looking at you choose. "oh Lino look!" You grab the gown from the bottom as you pull it towards you while trying to show Leeknow. He looks over and sees the dress as his eyes lit up a bit from how stunning it looks. "Long, and same color?? I actually admire this one." You giggle as you tippy toe and take it off the hanger. "I'll try on this one and I'll try on the other one." He looks at you and lifts his eyebrow. "The short one too?" "Well yeah? It looks too cute. Imagine all the eyes on me on my birthday." You smile as Leeknow looks away then scoffs and mumbles as you can only make up two words which was "yeah, me"
"What was that?" You respond. He looks up at you and back at the dresses as he shakes his head. You smirk and watch his ears getting a bit red. "Ima go try them on." You say as you leave Leeknow alone checking the dresses. "Okay." You head in the dressing room and close the blinds. "Wonder what Leeknow would think if he sees me with the short one. His never seen me in one before? His first time." You say while you giggle as you try it on. You look in the mirror and actually adore the way the dress looks on you. You can't wait for Leeknow's reaction to the dress to see if he likes it or not, especially on you. You come out and see him waiting by the corner, as he notices you from a distance and sees the dress on you. He gets up quickly and walks up to you. "So what do you think?" He enjoys the way it matches you as his eyes are glistening looking up and down analyzing the details of the short dress. "You look very adorable.." You hear Leeknow say those words about you making you smile and turn red a little as you try to hide it by looking down at the dress on you. "Are you sure?" He looks at your side profile and stays there for a second while you feel him staring at you making you look at him aswell watching his brown eyes sparkle and glint. Your cheeks turn slightly red when looking at Leeknows face for too long. You look away by looking down. Leeknow smirks and looks down trying to find the dresses he found. "Now try these on.. I've been looking for some that would match." You grab the dresses Leeknow chose for you looking at bit impressed. "These are a lot Lino." "Is it too much?" "No no! I'll try them on." You say as you smile walking towards the dressing room again. You close the blinds and try on the first one thats a long dark purple formal dress. You actually like this one since it matches your hair a lot. You ask Leeknow to come and see the dress as you walked out. He comes towards you and sees you in the gown he picked. "Wow, you look so beautiful." He says looking at the back of the dress aswell. "You like it?" He questions. "Of course! It's so lovely, aswell as the color." He nods his head and tells you to try on the other ones. You go back inside and close the blinds. You try on the second dress that's a nice white and minty color but that's also somewhat short. "Awe this one is cute, I have heels that match with this." You say out loud. You then come out and show him the next one. He looks at you and smiles. "You seem even cuter in this one as-well. Especially my favorite color on you, is my dearest part." Leeknow talking makes you smile so coquettishly to point where you can't hide it anymore. You place your hands on your face hiding your blushes, then immediately putting them down remembering he's right in-front of you. You head back in the changing room and close the blinds again. You changed into many different dresses and finally found the perfect one. Turns out Leeknows favorite color on you is perfect. "So, we both agree?" You say. "Yes, you look so lovely in a mint color. You remind me of a portrait I saw in a art museum I was in." You turn to Leeknow and questioned. "Oh really?" He nods. "What was it?" "It was just this beautiful Monet Water Lily art. It was very bright and had a soft teal color palette as the pond. Kinda like your dress." You listen to him speak while being compared by a painting Leeknow finds breathtaking making you smile and look down at the dress. He holds your hand making yours feel so warm. "To me right now.. your like that calming pond in the painting that attracts birds to admire its beauty." He looks at you and smiles while you continue to look at your dress trying not to look at Leeknow. Your face starts to flush with red as your blood boils when hearing how Leeknow describes you but a bit confused on why his describing you as a pretty pond, his never talked or acted that way with anyone. Expect for his cats? But that's about it. You feel a sudden beat for some reason and start to overthink. "is he saying all of this because he only finds me cute in decent nice outfits and not just by my appearance?" "Leeknow, do you have feelings.. that you want to share out right now?" He looks at you and removes his hand. "Why do you say that?" He replies. "It's cuz, you suddenly called me all of this when I tried on the dresses.. and it kinda makes me feel like you only adore me in cute or formal clothes." He looks at you and smiles as he steps towards you a bit more and wraps his arms around you holding you tight. He places his head on top of yours making you rest on his chest hearing his heartbeat. "Lela, you know I love you for who you are. I'm sorry if I made you feel that way but I was expressing how I felt in that moment about you. You did look pretty in the dress, but you by your self is all I need to think. She's my type of perfect." You look up at him feeling his fingers through your hair. You smile now knowing he loves you for who you are as he calls you perfect while you decide to hug him even more tightly making him blush a bit. "I'm sorry Lino that I thought that way." "It's really okay, you can feel anything about whether you think something is wrong or right. You can say anything that comes up in your mind, even if it's hard to let out." When hearing that from Leeknow, you actually want to know if he thinks of you more than anything else, and if he genuinely wants to be together maybe with you. "In that case.. do you."
He looks at you with all ears, listening to what you have to say. "Do you have a deeper affection for me?" He looks down at you with his eyes wide trying to repeat in his mind what you said to him just now while you glance at him making his ears turn red. "What do you mean?"
"Do you think of me more than a friend." Leeknow pulls away hearing your response as his holding you by your upper arms. "Lela, I've always wanted you to be with me and be next to me always. But I didn't have the heart to let you know that." You smile as you see the tip of his ears get more red and get excited from hearing that from him. "You actually want to be with me?!" He chuckles and nods. "Of course, your my everything, and I was kinda afraid that you would choose someone else leaving me here heart broken." You smile so big and tippy toe to reach Leeknows cheek as you kissed him softly. His eyes lightened up from the sudden kiss. He smirks with his eyes wide sparkling like a little puppy. He waited for this to happened, and to tell you right away. But he didn't know when was the right moment. "How about? I love you Leeknow?" He smiles so wide and grabs you while picking you up from your thighs then drops you lightly down to your waist as he spins you around with you in his arms. You giggle from the unexpected hold. He places you down, still with his arms around you making you feel so warm as he kisses you a lot making you laugh. He pulls away and watches your face turning red. "I love you too Lela." You hug Leeknow as tight then release. "so is it official?" You questioned. "Was it not a second ago?" He replies back. You scoff and run to the changing room. "Stay there Lino." You close the blinds and quickly change into your regular clothes. Once you finished, you stepped out while holding all the dresses. Once you guys payed, Leeknow held the bag for you while you too hold hands coming out the store. You two look at eachother and smile while you look to your right and see the others coming back from other sections of the mall. You get startled when you think of them seeing you two holding hands making you quickly release and place your hands inside you pockets making Leeknow look at you looking at the others then smirks.
