Memories.  Bruce can hardly be called a fan of welcoming guests; with his double life, one should not be surprised by an unexpected visit.  Starting from the League and villains, ending with secular windbags.  And everyone identically notes the similarity of his abode with the “house of Dracula” or the “haunted house”.  These statements were not impressive; there were no significant reasons for change.

The nondescript, sometimes drab surroundings are familiar to his nature.  Before the unexpected purchase of tickets to Haley's Circus, dramatic changes began with the appearance of Richard Grayson.  Alfred, as the best butler in the world, was the first to notice Bruce's atypical behavior.

Arriving from a night patrol, Robin jumped out of the Batmobile.  (Bruce is still perplexed how this kid managed to convince everyone to use the Bat-; prefix on everything in the cave).

"Alfred!  Can you imagine there is a MOL-man!  And we-,” the boy’s gaze hovered on the tray in the butler’s hands, flying over the steps, the miracle boy landed smoothly in front of the butler.

Alfred was not yet accustomed to the child's acrobatic skills, but he didn't show it.

“Help yourself Master Richard, your tea is on the table, lights out after the meal. You have to go to school in the morning.”

By the end of Alfred’s sentence, Robin happily rushed to the table with his mouth full.  Bruce slowly pulled off his mask, walking up to the monitor to record the report.  He looked towards the boy, who was finishing his last cookie while sitting in a chair.  Alfred brought the tea to the monitor, to which the man politely accepted the warm drink,

“Today everything was quiet, it’s time for us to go to bed, thank you Alfred.”

the two men turned towards the child,

“Dick, get changed and go to bed--?”

the boy wrapped himself in his cloak instead of a blanket and slept comfortably in the Bat-chair. In a chair, just a chair, you quickly get used to it, thought Bruce, Alfred took a step towards the young master to carry him to bed, but slowed down when they touched his shoulder.

“Don’t worry Alfred, I’ll take him, good night” with a warm smile, Wayne lifted the boy so carefully, trying not to wake him up, then Alfred noticed the first changes.

From that moment on, such a warm attitude (which is not characteristic of Master Bruce) was directed only to Dick.  Life began to change for all three.  In subsequent years, the estate was not empty, because the family only grew.

Present tense.  Wayne Manor.  Standing in the hallway of the mansion, Jason Blood looked at the silver figurines on the table for about an hour, his attention slowly turned to the Wayne porter and family photographs, where everyone was fooling around and smiling happily at the camera.  Blood knew Wayne and his double life before he had children.  One photo stood out from the rest of the pile; the magician took a closer look; each one had a different number of children.  There are the most of them in this photo, 6 people on the sofa and three standing behind it.  He is familiar with the faces, but identified only three standing: the butler, the eldest son Richard and Wayne himself.  Hearing the sound of footsteps coming down the steps, the man moved towards the stairs

“Glad you came Blood, is there any news?”

A man with a child in his arms came down to his guest, the little boy looked peacefully at the unknown man. His large, compared to his small face, eyes were very expressive, long eyelashes and soft-looking cheeks just begged to be touched, a neat button nose and plump childish ones.  lips. The boy gives the impression of a living doll. They were both wearing home clothes, the boy had a long T-shirt and leggings (Dick was capricious, refusing other clothes, Bruce resigned himself)
