Kenma - Soulmates.

This is a soulmate Au where you and your soulmate have matching tattoos.
(Also I didnt proof read any of this so I apologise if there's any misspellings, grammer mistakes or if it just flat out does not make sense.)

Kenma never really cared for the whole soulmate thing. It wasn't like he didn't like his soulmate or anything he just never really made a big deal out of it. He didn't go out of his way to try and find them either, I mean, they are soulmates. After all, if they're destined to be together, then they'll meet eventually, won't they? Kenma's tattoo was on his wrist. It was a small tattoo of a black cat. He remembered when his volleyball team found out his tattoo was of a cat, they wouldn't stop talking about it for a whole week. He didn't care too much about them cooing over his cat tattoo at least until Kuroo started making shitty puns about it.

Kenma was walking in the hallways down to get Kuroo's bag that he left in the science lab after his last class. The only reason he really offered to go get was to get out of practice. Once he got to the science lab, he saw the black bag in question and picked it up. It was surprisingly heavy. Kenma knew he wasn't the strongest person per say but still, the bag looked like it was mostly empty. He didn't bother looking inside, nor did he bother zipping it up. He sighed and swung the bag over his shoulder anyway. He then started walking back to practice, as slow as he possibly can mind you, the longer he can get out of practice, the better.

On his way back, he heard a fast tapping noise coming from the direction he was currently walking. Before he could even think someone crashed into him, toppling him and themselves over. He then heard a smash. He looked up to see a very panicked and worried looking girl.

"AHH, Im so sorry!! I didn't mean to crash into you!" You stand up quickly but shake a little. You put out your hand for him to help him up. It was only then that they both realised that you were covered in scratches and cuts. Kenma looks down to see what could have potentially caused the injuries on the worried looking student in front of him and saw glass. Thats right fucking glass. He then looks inside Kuroo's bag to see a bunch of broken glass in it. Who the fuck just carried a bunch of glasses in their bag!?? And who doesnt tell the person that goes to get their bag that theres fragile fucking glass inside!??

Kenma sighs and stands up, he was surprised he didnt get cut himself. "Are you okay?" He asked you a little guilty that he's kind of the reason you're covered in blood and cuts. "Y-Yeah.. Im fine. Sorry for crashing into you.." You said shyly and looked just as guilty as Kenma. Kenma sighs. "Here, let me take you to the infirmary.." he says softly. "W-What?? No Im okay, I wouldn't want to be a bother," you say while waving your hands in front of your face. "No, I insist, Im kinda the reason you're all bloodied up." technically its all Kuro's fault kenma thinks to himself, but I dont mind taking you, plus I get out of practice. The girl shakily nods, and kenma then walks her to the infirmary. On the way there, they made akward small talk.

While at the infirmary, Kenma watches the nurse treat your wounds. He'll just use you as an excuse to skip practice. While you were getting your wounds treated, Kenma just so happens to look over and a cat tattoo on your wrist, the exact same one that he has. Kenma then makes some dumb excuse to leave and runs to the gym.

Once he gets to the gym, he throws the bag at Kuroo, almost cutting him up with the broken glass inside. "H-Hey!! Why is all my science equipment broken!?? Kenma did you-" Before Kuroo can finish his sentence, he looks up to see an angry, blushing Kenma. Yaku smirks at Kuroo, whining over his broken science equipment before following his gaze to kenma. "K-Kenma?? Are you.. blushing??" Yaku asks, his jaw practically touching the floor. The whole team then looks over to Kenma.

Kenma glares at Kuroo "Who the fuck keeps fragile science equipment in a bag and doesn't tell anyone!??" "A total dumbass" Yaku says before Kuroo pushes him over making him fall on top of lev. "Me obviously, but~" Throws his bag to the side. "I wanna know why your blushing like that~" Kuroo does his classic smug grin, making Kenma want to punch him in the face. To be fair, Kenma quite often wants to punch Kuroo in the face. "I-It was nothing." Kenma says flustered. Kai then walks over to Kenma "Cmon man, you can tell us, we won't judge." Kenma sighs. "Fine. I crashed into someone, and Kuroo's dumb science equipment cut them up, so I took them to the infirmary.. I.. I.. saw my soulmate tattoo on their wrist.." The whole team is shocked. "WHAT??"

The next day, the entire team is all up in Kenma's face, trying to find out who his soulmate is. "Cmon Kenma~ Yknow, since they broke my science equipment, maybe we should make them a manager so they can pay me back~" Kuroo teased. "Yeah! We should!" Yamamoto butted in. "Shut up. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy." "Harsh Kenma, harsh," Yaku teased. "Anyways, Kuroo, you should be the one apologising to her. It's your fault they got all cut up," Kenma said, glaring at Kuroo. "You seem pretty worried about them Kenma~ anyways, they should be the one thanking me, like it's because of my science equipment that they found out who their soulmate was." Kuroo said while grinning.

"..."

"Kenma...?"

"..."

"Kenma, you did tell them use two are soulmates, right...?

"..."

"Kenma.."

A few days later, after school on his way back from the bathroom, he saw you in again outside the gym. He immediately froze when he saw you. You just so happened to glance over and see him. "Oh, hello again! I wanted to thank you for yesterday, your name's Kozume..? Right?" You walk up to him. Kenma begins to blush. "U-Uh.. y-yeah.. Im Kozume.. what's your name..?" He asks, trying not to sound like a total dumbass. "My name is L/N! It's nice to meet you-" Before you can continue talking, someone cuts you off. "Hey Kenma! Whos this?" Kenma's heart jumps out of his chest when he sees Lev behind you. You turn around to see Lev. "Oh hi, Im L/N, I was just thanking Kenma for helping me to the infirmary a few days ago." You say with a small smile on your face.

"Lev, dont say anything-" Before Kenma can finish speaking, Lev yells out to the rest of the team. "HEY GUYS, KENMA'S SOULMATE IS HERE!" Kenma then has the urge to kill Lev and make the ground swallow him hole. The whole team runs to the gym doors to see you. "P-pardon..? D-did you just say soulmate..?" You say very confused until Kuroo stands in front of you. "Yep! Your our little Kenma's soulmate-- damn your cute." Kuroo says as he glances down at you. "Kuroo!" Kenma yelled, embarrassed. "Everyone fuck off! I need to talk to them!" Kenma yells with a flushed face.

The whole team leaves, so you and Kenma can talk in private. You turn to see a blushing Kenma, to he fair though you were blushing too. "Uhm.. what was that about...?" You ask nervously. Kenma sighs and shows you his wrist. "We're soulmates." You blush and roll your sleve up so he can see the tattoo on your wrist. "We're soulmates...?" Kenma nods. "W-Well, it's nice to meet you, soulmate.. Im Y/N." You say using your first name this time. "Kenma" He says before smiling softly. "Do.. Do you wanna go on a date after Practice...?" He asks nervously. "Id love too!!" *You say before jumping on him toppling him over again but this time, Kenma didnt mind.
