The girl looked around silently, observing her surroundings. It all seems so tedious to her, the constant maintained vigilance, logical thinking and perfect persona. When, oh when would she finally get her share of excitement? Exactly when would she finally meet a remotely exciting toy?

I'll get this over with as fast as possible. My precious little toy will be ruined by the time this finishes however, she sighed.

"Hey, dad! Would it kill you to not rummage through the files of various, unmarried women?" When would he ever learn?, she thought to herself with a frown.

The man  put the papers down and sternly replied, "However long it takes doesn't concern you. Your job is to find a suitable spouse for me."

Is he always this uptight? Well, I know the answer to that, she thought to herself.

Exactly how long would this mission take her anyway? She assumed that Loid wouldn't continue family life after this mission, so it seemed like a small detour in her and Anya's lives. She's clearly not dumb enough however to fail to notice the changes in Loid. In fact, it's becoming increasingly obvious to everyone that Loid is becoming attached to this make-shift family.

What a disgrace, she thought with a smirk. She clearly didn't have a single ounce of respect for the man; according to her, he had fallen far from grace.

Exactly how far has the apple fallen? Well, it didn't matter how long this mission took, she reminded herself. After all, this was simply a cover for her real identity. She rid her mind of these frankly disgusting thoughts and focused on the task at hand; procuring a wife for this creature.

Briar seems ideal, so she'll do, the girl said smugly. Now, just for her brother to be taken care of. Yuri Briar, if I'm not mistaken, is a highly skilled Secret Police employee I'm familiar with. Convincing him will be trying no doubt with that sister complex of his but nonetheless, worth it.

"I've just remembered, there's a well-bred, beautiful and not to mention single, woman who works at the Berlint City Hall as a office clerk. She seems respectable and willing to matrimony. Interested yet?", the girl casually mentioned with a faint show of a grin; it was clear she had an ulterior motive.

Loid said with an apathetic expression, "Now that you mention it, I have seen her record on these papers. Yor Briar, was it? I'll try and find her later. For now, we must buy clothes and uniforms for you two."

Exactly who is this woman and why does Y/N bother with her? What are their connections? Is there a possibility that this is a prank? With Y/N though, nothing can be conclusive. The man let out a tired sigh and got his belongings to go to the store.

Somewhere in Berlint, a raven haired, handsome boy looked out of his bedroom window and silently hoped for the holidays to end. He was quite bored with the tedious routine set by his father for the apparent "path to success" and wished for the academy to reopen.

He asked, "Which prestigious batch of students will I be gracing with my presence this year, Jeeves?".

He knew the answer to his question; his father would have pulled connections to get him in an influential circle of society. Every year was the same perfect and athletic year for the handsome Demetrius Desmond. When would he finally get the excitement he desired?

"The list of students attending Cline Hall with you this year, Master Demetrius", the butler, namely Jeeves, replied while handing him a list.

The boy took the list with an apathetic expression and glanced at it for a second before remarking, "As usual, father has placed me in an influential circle of politicians this year- Who's this? Her surname isn't familiar with me. Are her parents new to the parliament? Or are they influencers?".

"I will look into her background, Master Demetrius so rest assured", Jeeves replied.

"Helpful as always Jeeves. You may take your leave", the boy ordered.

Y/N Forger, his newest prey. One common occurrence in his years of education at Eden was that one commoner indefinitely in his classes. Every single one of them proved to be either useful or fun in their own ways. Perhaps this one would be something more... interesting. Oh well, he had better things to do than brood over a commoner's background. He must be prepared for the new year at Eden and 7th grade isn't an easy task.

Back to Y/N, the white haired girl sat on a sofa at the Eden uniform store while waiting for her sister to finish trying on her clothes. She had already finished picking her items and clothing, but was told to wait for her sister which resulted in a wait outside the dressing room for approximately 2 hours.

"Onēsan, does Anya look nice in this dress?", the telepath asked with a bright smile

The older girl replied "You look wonderful in anything Anya so kindly take them all and wrap this up. FAST."

"Onēsan doesn't like Anya's dress! Anya's gonna cr- Papa is interested in that lady!", Anya yelled out at surprise.

"Ah-oh-gr- Anya, you can't just say things like that! Manners!", the girl said, shocked at her sister's abrupt statement.

What did she say though? Loid? Interested in a woman? This could be fun, the girl thought smirking to herself. Now, just to see who this mystery woman i- Ah. Oh. How curious, so very curious. It seems I have been underestimating the universe's will to disorder my life. Well, can't help it even if it's a drag, thought the girl with immense disdain for the situation. She shifted her seat a little to get a better look at the situation; the world's best spy attracted towards the assassin of the century. And the worst part is that they fight against each other, she thought while sensing an oncoming headache. Wait, Anya, what are you doing? Wait, that's not part of the plan. Why's she?- Oh no, oh no, no, no. Please tell me she isn't going to-

"Ah... Anya doesn't have a mother, it's so lonely~ I long for the existence of a mother", the girl said in a sing-song voice.

It's over for me. My career is ruined and so is my life. I'm so sorry Dealer, but I must go very soon. Take care of Anya and give me an exquisite funeral. Goodbye, everyone... I'm so sorry for having failed you all. Honor me, as the last sensible person in this family, she thought while melodramatically dying out of embarrassment.

The raven-haired lady took a look at the girl and her face was one of contorted shock, worry and surprise. She exclaimed after a few seconds, "Oh my! I didn't expect to run into you here, Y/N-chan! You never told me you were coming here".

"I didn't think you'd be here either, Briar-san. We're here to get our uniforms for Eden. WHat about you? Have you come to repair the dress from that night?" The white-haired girl said nonchalantly. But it was true, all the shock and everything she implied.

To be honest, she had not expected to run into the famous Thorn Princess again while picking out an uniform. Lieutenant Yuri did mention something about him wanting Yor to find a spouse... fate is so lenient with me, isn't it?, she thought with a smirk.

She gestured for Anya to come closer and communicated something to her via telepathic means before walking up closer to the woman and exclaiming, "Since Anya had mentioned our mother, I think it'd be a suitable time to mention it. Our mother passed before Anya connected with her properly and we've decided to look for a new mother". Well that was cringe asf, I mean, "Suitable"? "Connected"? What drugs am I on? The girl thought while cringing inwardly. Well, she got her message across at least. Now, Anya would handle the rest and she'd just have to sit back and relax.
