"What did I tell you!?" Eros shook him "Not to get us caught." "And what did you nearly do!?" "Get us caught but si-" "No buts about it Cupid, you're lucky I was even willing to let you come with me for this mission especially after what happened last time I had you come with me." Eros snarled Cupid fiddled with the bottom of her skirt "I know you're mad sir but-," "MAD DOESN'T BEGIN TO COMPREHEND IT!" Eros threw a lamp onto the floor "I should've known better than to bring one of Adam's bitches onto one of my missions." Eros grabbed her by the collar of her shirt "Now shut the fuck up," he opened a portal "What the...sir what is this?" Cupid questioned "If you want something done right you should do it yourself." Eros kicked Cupid into the portal.
"Keep it together..." they told themselves "Stay calm." Eros held their own hands "No more lashing out, stay completely calm, watch it unfold from here if Nightmare is to be trusted, then this will be good for us...won't it." Eros sighed "If I keep going like this, they will all know the truth." Eros grabbed his own hand and held it "I'm sorry." They cried themselves to sleep.
Lust woke up alone or so he had assumed, the room was quiet but he looked over towards the bathroom door "Nightmare?" "Yes?" Lust breathed a sigh of relief "Thank goodness it's you." He smiled "Who else would it be?" The king laughed lightly "Eros?" "Speaking of...how do you know them?" Nightmare inquired "it's a rather long story." He said "We have time." "A long story Night." "And we have plenty of time." Nightmare stated once more.
"A very very long time ago, I was well I was in love with someone, I had barely known them, but I trusted him, that's what had mattered to me, because I thought I could trust him." Lust held the fabric of his shorts in hand, "I fell in love with this stranger we went out dancing any opportunity we could he'd sneak me out of my home and visit me often..." Lust sighed "We were an adventurous couple the two of us so much so to the point that we decided to try things...we shouldn't have...my father...he found out." "Why would Gaster ca-," "It wasn't Gaster, it was my mortal father, he found out about us, and gave me a choice, either I live with my new 'friend living the life of a fa——-, or I could return home but never see my friend again." "And this friend?" "He was beautiful everything I wanted and then some, he was so sweet and cared so much about me...when I broke it off I thought he would understand but he sent letters and I wrote back..." Lust looked at the ground "After I had formally ended things I found that my friend had died after getting hit by a car...unable to deal with any of that guilt anymore I turned to alternative resources, I did parties and drank more than i should've, and one night I pushed it too far I came home...and..." Lust shivered at the very thought in his head. "And that's when you died isn't it?" Nightmare questioned, Lust nodded "I never saw him again I passed out on the floor and before I knew it I had spawned in hell, I looked day in and day out for him but never found him." Lust sighed "I gave up searching and then one day i thought I found him..."
He looked down at the floor twiddling his thumbs "But instead I found Valentino. And for the next few decades I worked day in and day out, my soul sold to him, my body exploited more times than I could count the spider who got caught by the fly..." Lust sighed "My brother, my father, they disowned me after I became working for Val." Lust sighed "I had no clue what to do, I just knew I wanted out of this bull shit. So extermination day rolls around that time of year then entire time I'm working my ass off being passed from apartment to apartment, and Val's just watching me suffer each and every fucked up thing that happens, that next year I met Charlie and her girlfriend, they gave me a place to stay that was rent free all I had to do was not get caught being a whore while being there, sounds simple enough." Lust sighed, Nightmare looked at him "Princess...so you never found your boyfriend..." Lust shook his head "When I met Val for the first time I thought I had but after so long I gave up searching for him. That year with Charlie and the others I got along with everyone, I was happy, I even found someone new and then Charlie comes and tell me that it's time for me to lose Val's chains so me and her go to the V tower...right in the middle of a shoot, Val's all pissed at us, Charlie spends her time arguing with him and I try to get my case in order, that's when Lucifer and Eros showed up one set the contract on fire freeing my soul and the other beat up Valentino."
"When I did finally get redeemed I had to go on a trial they asked me if I had really honestly changed." Lust sighed "I said; of course I have i wouldn't be here I if hadn't, then they gave me the choice that landed me here, when faced with your vices we will see what you do." Lust sighed "You can tell how that went." Nightmare pulled him slightly closer "Lust, I'm sorry." Lust shook his head "Don't be." Nightmare sighed "I wish I knew how to help you know that right?" Lust nodded and sniffled "Is it a bad thing that I always want you here?" Lust snickered "I don't think it is." Nightmare pulled him even closer close enough now that he could hold him by the shoulders "You know what, you're always so fucking slutty, but also so fucking beautiful, that's my favorite thing about you." A blush rose onto Lust's face "No fair." He huffed "All is fair in love and war~." Nightmare laughed Lust pouted "Jerk." "I might be a jerk but you're the one who seems to love getting wined and dined before a round or three." Lust pushed Nightmare of the bed "Oh is this how your game is played?" "No. This is called I'm going back to sleep." Lust huffed curling up on Night's side of the bed "You know I rarely ever use those." Lust nodded "I'm aware." "You just want to cuddle something?" Lust nodded in response to the question "How about we cuddle instead?" Nightmare suggested "Are you joking or?" "I'm serious." Lust shrugged "Knock yourself out." Lust made a bit more room and let Nightmare come back on the bed "There happy?" Lust nodded "Comfy." "Heh." Nightmare drifted off into sleep. Lust tried to do the same.
