Sherlocks POV:
I woke up to find John laying down beside me,his fingers intertwined in mine. I could see him looking at me. "John." I croaked. He sat up and smiled, relieved. "Your okay. Fuck,Sherlock, you scared me." He said, fresh tears taking over the dried ones on his cheeks. "How long was I out for?" I mumbled, looking around and becoming aware of my surroundings. "Two days. I was close to bringing you in a few times, but the note on the bottle, I couldn't bring myself to do it." He said. I glanced over at the lid of the bottle, my eyes focusing on the black writing on it. 'No hospital. Ever' I had written it when John first moved in, although I didn't think he'd ever read it.
"Sherlock, I'm so sorry. This is all my fault." John said, his throat dry. I shook my head. "No,John don't. It's not your fault you don't feel the same. This was just my way of...coping with it." I said. John blinked, and a few more tears fell down his face. "But,I do feel the same,Sherlock. I've felt this way since the first day I met you, and I called you brilliant, not a freak, and something sparked in your eyes and it was...breathtaking." I smiled weakly. "You're quite the romantic,Dr Watson." I croaked. "And then I nearly lost you and it was hell." John whispered. I tried to move towards him, but failed miserably.
Johns POV:
I chuckled slightly, then leaned in. I was about to kiss him when I pulled away again. Sherlock groaned. "I swear to god if you tell me you can't do this,I'll take more pills." He said. I laughed, and shook my head. "Vomit breath." I said, scrunching my nose and walking out of the room.
I heard Sherlock gasp as I walked away, and I went into the bathroom and brought back in a tube of toothpaste. Sherlock raised his eyebrows. "Wow, you're really picky." He said. I shrugged my shoulders. "Let's wait until it's gone so..." i said, standing up. Sherlock grabbed the tube of toothpaste out of his hands and put some into his mouth. He grimaced at the disgusting taste, and then looked at me. "Happy?" He said. I smiled. "Very." I slowly leaned down, this time connecting my lips with Sherlocks. I felt Sherlock smile, making me smile too. "The toothpaste doesn't do much." I whispered, grimacing. Sherlock pushed me away, laughing.
