CH. 15 - Hangover

Third person POV

The room went silent, like time had stoped as the 5 people were stuck staring at eachother waiting for an explanation, and all because of one person, Roxanne.

Damians pov

"You know Roxanne?"

Rhea asked me , with a curious face

"Yeah we-"

Not knowing what to answer i look at Roxanne and realise she doesn't want me to say what actually happened.

"We have worked together "
Everyone was shocked,

"You have worked with Roxanne? Like in a match?"
Dominik asked

"Yep"
I just said, which was not entirely a lie , I cleared my throat,

"Now your turn , dude why do you say you know her"

I look at the weird guy who was about to start a fight with me. With crossed arms and an intimidating grimace.

"Because i do know her, We also work together, i mean we will soon"

He Looks angry and annoyed but if he even tries something things won't go good for him.

I look at Roxanne ,not believing him
"Yeah.. there's a chance Brandon's boss will employ me."

She said confirming his claims.
"Well alright then , have a great night. Brandon"

I say and i turn away from him, leading Roxanne with my arm towards our table.
I turn around to make sure he is walking away and sure enough he is. I don't let her out of my sight until we sit at the table.

Roxanne's pov

Shit that was awkward, Remind me not to do that again please.
As we sit down i look at them, i wanted to thank them but Dominik didn't waste time in yelling at me.

"What the fuck were you thinking?"
"Dominik!"

I was shocked he spoke to me that way
And so was everyone at the table , especially rhea ,who called him out.

"No. Do you think this is a village, where you know eachother and can trust everyone with everything?"

"I-"

"Well think again because this is California, don't trust him, and don't do that ever again."

If it was any other situation, i would have yelled back at him, but i am so tired from working out and drinking that i didn't fight with him. Also i never thought i would say this but he is right. What was i thinking??

"I know, don't you doubt it "

I said slowly and weakly with a calm voice which shocked rhea and Dominic,

I look at them both then towards Damian

"you too Damian, i didn't want him to drive me home, or whatever"

"Um.. when can we go home im really tired"

dominik said with a softer voice than usual.

Then rhea and Damian started a conversation with me, that made me more comfortable. Damian even asked how we know eachother and he was shocked to say the least.
